Fair food, poor service. So I’ve only eaten here once which was earlier today and I’m going to briefly discuss the good & the bad of this place.
First things first, I came here after working out around 2:30, the time when most restaurants aren’t really that busy and are probably just mostly prepping for the chaotic evening rush. Walked in and the place was completely empty, not a soul in sight but me standing there staring at the menu above the counter; figured the staff was mostly in the back doing usual food prep type stuff. Then out of the corner of my eye I notice the cashier girl sweeping the floor with her head down, and after about 3 minutes she finally notices me standing there. She was friendly and apologized for that which truthfully was no big deal since I was a newb, I wanted time to review the menu anyway. I decide on one of my all time faves at any taco/fajita joint, shrimp tacos! About 5 minutes into waiting for my food she then comes out to apologize for not having any more shrimp, and again I’m very forgiving so I just calmly decide on beef instead.
The food took way too long to come out considering I was the only customer there the whole time. And the guy who I’m highly confident was the manager, didn’t even say a word to me while he was at one point 2ft away from me. (Customer service starts at the top buddy)
Now for the actual food. I ordered my stuff to go and only live a few minutes from the establishment and so once I was at home my grub was still very warm. The “beef amigos” had bold authentic flavor, I was impressed! It was served with a side of refried beans and Spanish rice as well as some chips and salsa. It was all enjoyable enough that I no longer felt the need to hold a grudge against them for giving me flour tortillas instead of corn like I requested lol.
This place gets a 3/5 from me for good food but poor service that obviously stems from bad management. I’ll give you another try to earn my $$ again and perhaps adjust my review accordingly...
Read moreYesterday I called in an order to this location thinking I could get my order faster because I always notice this location is busy. I walked in gave my information and the guy at the cashier told me my food wasn’t ready. The young cashier and two drivers were really nice. I sat for 45minutes waiting on my food everyone there acted as if I didn’t exist. While I waited for 45mins I noticed that every Caucasian customer was treated with the upmost respect they received their food within 10-15 minutes. They messed up a customer order fixed his order within 5 minutes. An still I was waiting for my food. I didn’t feel comfortable asking the manager why I have to wait for almost an hour for my food because I felt she would “go off” on me because I could hear her in the kitchen saying “I’m not in the mood for it”. One customer waited for 15 minutes for her food the manager personally bought her food to her then apologized for the long wait she even offered her a margarita and still I was waiting for my food. After an hour my food was ready the manager bought my food out and didnt apologize for the wait just said “sign your receipt”. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect EVER!! The manager and staff made me feel like I was less than because I’m an African American woman. I will never come to this location again! I will love to have a conversation with the...
Read moreI like Fajita Pete’s normally: I’ve ordered large catering orders from their Pearland and Rosenberg locations in the past and was excited when they opened here in Sienna. Read mixed reviews when they first opened about their service so I thought I would give them a couple months to get it all together then give them a try. My wife placed a web order yesterday at 6:10pm. She got a confirmation saying it would be ready in 60 minutes. I went to pick it up at 7:15 but it wasn’t ready. It took another 20 minutes to get my food. When I brought it home, we discovered that several items were missing(tortillas, beans, grilled vegs for the fajitas). So I went back to the restaurant to get the rest of it. I told them what I was missing, they apologized and prepared the missing items which took another 10 minutes and threw in a bag of tortilla chips and salsa for my trouble. I came back home to discover that, again, missing items(no grilled vegs). Rather than go back, we just ate what we got. Unfortunately, the tortillas were overcooked and hard, the tortilla chips were undercooked and the fajita meat was tough. I won’t be going back again. EDIT ON 3/21: Had stomach issues yesterday all day and the only thing I ate on Sat and Sun was this. So I changed my review to 1...
