From the moment my friend and I walked in, the employee seemed very reluctant to help us at all. We came to get the Galentine's jug after seeing it on Instagram. We were the first customers at 11:01am and I asked if the store had the jug. She confirmed they did and I followed up by making sure we needed to spend $20 to get it. She then told us she wasn't ready and needed 10-15 minutes but would not take our order.
My friend also asked about the heart shaped containers for Valentine's Day and she pointed at the sign saying there was a date. When we couldn't find one and asked again, she rudely tried to point it out but was unable to as it didn't have a date. She then said it would start ON Valentine's Day and she couldn't get one today. While I understood the situation, her tone of voice and hostility created a really uncomfortable experience for us then.
We left to get lunch while we waited and when we came back, there were some people who had already ordered. We came up to order but she again wouldn't take our order as she said she needed to make the other people's drinks first. After about 5-8 minutes, she finally took our order. I asked again if I would get the jug after spending $20 and after she said yes, I ordered 2 med and 2 large pearl milk teas with no ice and 100% sugar. She originally did not get my order right and I had to correct her when my total was $5 less than it should have been. AFTER I paid, she then said that she would have to check to see if I qualified for the jug to which I pointed out that she had just told me earlier that I just needed to spend $20 per the Instagram post.
After this, she started making drinks for people still ahead of us before making all of our drinks. When our drinks were ready, she told us that our order did NOT qualify for the jug. I asked again because Instagram has said we could get the jug with ANY $20 purchase. She then told us no, it was $20 or 3 large drinks. I asked for more information and she pulled a sheet from the back that clearly stated that there was a LIMIT of 3 large drinks. I pointed out that I had 2 med and 2 large drinks and that didn't hit the limit. At this point, I was incredibly frustrated. She told us she was the manager and that she was able to refund us if we didn't want the drinks anymore. I told her that I didn't care about the refund but I came to get the jug. She said she could call the owner but then went on to take orders and make other people's drinks.
After another 10 minutes, she finally called the owner and went to the back. She came back with a jug and said that she was still right and we had to order 3 large specialty drinks to qualify for the jug but she was gonna be nice and give it to us since we had been waiting for our drinks for almost 30 minutes at this point.
In the end, once we took the drinks to work (after taking almost 1 hr), we realized the drinks were only 70% sugar and she still got the order wrong.
I don't think this manager knew what was going on and she did not provide any sort of customer service. I have worked in food and beverage and am currently a retail manager myself and would never dream of treating or talking to guests the way she talked to my friend and I. I also would have provided any information about getting the jug BEFORE I ordered and paid so that the guest could adjust their order if needed and everyone would have all the information at the beginning of the transaction.

However, this is my second time coming today and the service is horrible. Out of the two employees, the girl was nice and did not say much but the younger man was disrespectful, rude, and mean. The first time I came here I was not charged for a glass of water; yet this time I was charged 54 cents. As I was paying, the young male worker told me it was disrespectful to bring outside food in here, which was less than half of a cup of Starbucks coffee (my sister's). One, this place does not offer any food. Two, I have never been told that my other stuff I bring (food or drinks) is disrespectful. Three, I always buy something when I go to cafe, coffee shop, boba shop, etc. Four, I'm not going to starve myself if these people don't have food. After I told the male worker that I found what he said disrespectful, he started arguing with me on how its disrespectful and when I told him he was telling me that "only today you can bring food" because I told him I would be buying a drink and other stuff later on. A while passed and my sister wanted a bubble egg waffle so my partner ordered one. I was getting hungry so I got some ramen from nearby and brought it in, simultaneously the bubble egg waffle was done. My partner went to go get the bubble waffle, with good attitude and thanking him, and the male worker told her unannounced, "We don't accept outside food; only food from here" so she replied "what are we supposed to do? you guys don't offer anything" and he said "just eat outside". She also said "you should have actual food here if you don't want anyone to eat outside food here" and with the rudest tone, he said "its a franchise. We can't offer more or add anything". I looked into their policies and nowhere does it say to not bring in outside food. It is also cold outside, so he does not care about someone, who has an allergic reaction to the cold, freezing or if their food gets cold. And again, there is NO FOOD. NO ACTUAL FOOD to eat here. In conclusion, I don't know if this worker has an issue or its this whole franchise but I am NEVER coming back here again. I went to the store and there was a family of at least 20 people and that the staff were back track of completing their order because somehow they allowed them to order all at once drinks and food and then other customers and food delivery are waiting so long and the quality of the drinks turn out so bad because the staffs are burnt from trying to finish the big order, I ordered a pearl milk tea and it didn't have the sugar syrup at all and then when added it was overly sweet then my drink got diluted later on. Y'all shouldn't have allowed such a big order get taken and backlogged everyone else's order and just end up making it with poor quality from rushing and burnt energy.
