Came here on a Saturday morning with the kiddos. It was my first time, however my sisters 3rd. Its a smaller trampoline park compared to most in the area. Urban Air is the neighboring trampoline park that i am comparing to size. So far the place is clean, open, and well ventilated. Even chilly to an extent but after jumping, running, and flipping... just perfect. I do recall 1 private room for parties and events. The day i went there was a birthday going on, but in the open table area. Kids and parents were all having fun. You pay on the length of time you plan to jump. You are required to wear "Grippy Socks" and if you dont have it, then they are available for purchase $2 each. I really think that is great pricing so good job on the price point. Socks are pretty cute too. However, one thing that erked me was that my sister had her own grippy socks which she has worn each time shes been here, but they did not come from Altitude. They were okay with it on all previous visits but on this visit, the "referees" said they were unacceptable and needed to be THEIR brand. The website does say grippy socks were required but not specifically theirs. They should really update that in my opinion or have specific signage. Hopefully that will be the last of the nickle and diming. Shoe cubby hold surround the jumping area for shoe storage. Couple of cases of bottled soda and sport drinks for purchase. Btw, no outside food/drinks allowed but they allowed me to bring some in for my 1yr old (special diet). Some other vending is an ICEE machine! So smart and i love it! Theres also a 'dip n dot' vending machine. I also think its a nice touch that they have massage chairs placed in various areas of the place so as your kids jump, get into a massage chair. Other designated areas are the block foam pit, the basketball or hoop area, rock climbing, and swing/mini zip line area. Theres also dodge ball and a "fight" beam that you balance on and challenge an opponent into the foam pit below. Restrooms are average with about 4 stalls. Theres even a shorter sink for kids to wash their hands. Changing table for the infants and even a family bathroom. I appreciate the child friendly atmosphere and accommodations. Specials they have going on when we came in was $19.95 for unlimited jumping. 10% off birthday parties. So far so good overall and we will be back and would consider parties here. Keep it up but hopefully they dont turn to pinching the wallet for every...
Read moreWe came months ago and my 6 yo had fun. She got bored after 40 min though. We came back this weekend for a friend’s 7th birthday and a staff member, it may be the manager, made me upset and made my 6 yo cry. It was so bad my 6yo said she never wanted to return. When we checked in as a party guest my daughter got a yellow bracelet. We brought our own skid free socks. First the staff lady, older Caucasian with grey hair, approached me with my daughter after my daughter jumped for 15-20 min and said she didn’t my daughter’s socks. I said they’re skid free. She touched them & said ok but she prefers us to use their socks. My daughter comes back 15 min later and says the lady told me I can’t jump until I change socks. I’m annoyed but ok I go get altitude socks. Then my daughter goes jumps. After pizza the kids go jump again. My daughter returns upset telling me the same lady told her she couldn’t jump. I’m thinking oh bc it’s cake time. I tell her to go jump for 5 min. My daughter comes crying with a friend this time they’re both telling me the lady followed her & told her she can’t jump bc of her yellow bracelet. At this point we realize the rest of the party had grey bracelets. We have cake and my daughter is still so upset crying. After the cake we pretty much leave. She refuses to return bc the lady kept following her around telling her she couldn’t jump. She pointed to the older Caucasian employee. I later see her ringing up my friend for the party. I wanted to say something but at this point, party’s over. My friend said she spoke to the manager who claimed poor staff training. Really. It was their mistake in giving us the wrong bracelet color. Next time, speak to the parent and not make the child cry and not allow her to play. It still breaks my heart to see my child not enjoy a birthday party with friends. Altitude owes her a free jump. I’m...
Read moreGood Place for Fun, but Showing Its Age
We’ve been visiting Altitude Trampoline Park in Sugar Land since it first opened, and it’s been a go-to spot for our family. When it first launched, everything was fresh, new, and clean, which was great. Over the years, the facility has started to show its age, with some areas looking a bit dingier, but that’s expected with how hard kids are on equipment.
They’ve changed their pricing structure since then. Originally, they offered options for 15, 30, or 45 minutes, which was convenient for quick visits. Now, they only offer hourly rates, which is fine since we usually did an hour anyway, but it’s worth noting. Prices have also gone up, which seems to be a trend at most places.
We’ve hosted birthday parties here before, and they’ve always gone smoothly. Their party packages are priced about the same as other venues, and you can choose between a private room or a shared table in a common area. The kids don’t care either way—they just love the trampolines! They have a dodgeball court, ball pits, basketball hoops, and a swing into the foam pit. It’s not as extravagant as some of the newer trampoline parks with arcades or bumper cars, but it’s still a hit with the kids.
It’s close to home, and while we’ll keep coming for now, we know we’ll eventually outgrow it. The waiver process (like all trampoline parks) can feel excessive, and there’s always the risk of accidents, but thankfully, we haven’t had any issues.
Overall, it’s a solid place for family fun. While it’s not as flashy as newer parks, it’s still a good option for active kids who just want to...
