Previously I have had food delivered from this restaurant using uber and what I was expecting was a replay of what brought me back. Not even close. What I ordered last night was exactly what I ordered before. Two of the L5s, one order of potato, one order corn, and one house salad. Look at the pictures they have on their website. I order the L5s because I wanted large clusters of crab legs. What I received via doordash was two separate bags of a combo not even listed on their menu. Each bad had one corn, one potato, and one very small cluster. Then another bag with two pieces of corn and another bag with 2 potatoes. Also the salad in a togo box. This was some lettuce with croutons. Again look at the picture of the salad. Also asked for four butters and crackers for the legs. Didn't get either. So I called the restaurant and the guy started arguing with me after i explained what was missing. He said they only have metal crackers. When I ordered at my friends home they had red plastic ones they sent. So that was a lie. He started blaming the forgotten butter on the driver. I said no I specifically asked that in the notes while ordering it. After many minutes on the phone with him he said he'll refund 10 dollars. Fine, what ever. I got 6. I called back he's still arguing but sent the other 4. I placed this order around 4pm on a Thursday so I wouldn't expect anything than just laziness and trying to save a penny. Read moreIt’s rare that I leave a bad review. I typically like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this experience was a bit too much. If you’re going for crawfish or drinks save your money. These are not live. These are clearly reheated from previously being frozen. The experience started off normally. It happened on a Friday evening so I can understand the crowd and the wait. When we finally got to our table the staff didn’t know we were there. It took every bit of 15 minutes to get server and another 15 minutes after that to get our drinks. They’re $10.00 drinks so you get what you pay for. Our crawfish were delivered in a plastic bag. Unseasoned but we were told to mix it with the seasoning that’s in the bag. To be fair the size was nice, but the first bite you could tell these were not cooked live. We tried to eat them. $10.00 a lb for live is pretty standard but these were not them. At some point our server asked how things were going and I let her know these crawfish were bad. To her credit she did offer more seasoning to help with the flavor. I told her no these were just bad. In the end I paid my ticket but left more than half our food behind. The atmosphere is nice, the vibe is cool, but the food and service were subpar at best. Read moreThe food here is consistently excellent—there’s no denying that. However, I’ve experienced a recurring issue when placing to-go orders. Each time, the same staff member handling pickups seems noticeably impatient.
Most recently, I asked to make a simple change to my order while I was ordering on the phone, and instead of assisting me in a helpful way, the employee made the process unnecessarily difficult. She even told me that I had confused her and showed frustration, despite my efforts to remain polite and speak with a positive attitude. Once the order was finalized, she abruptly ended the call with a quick “Thanks, bye,” without informing me of the total cost or the estimated pickup time or even allowed me time to respond. Her dismissive and frustrated tone was uncalled for, and unfortunately, it left a lasting negative impression.
What should have been an enjoyable interaction was overshadowed by how I was treated. Her reaction genuinely took away from the experience and made the entire order feel unpleasant. It’s reached the point where I hesitate to order again, simply because I don’t want to speak with her.
While I have no complaints about the food or the rest of the service, I believe this issue deserves attention if yo care about the image of your restaurant.
