Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Missouri

I will never go there again never it was a nightmare I ordered the Italian sandwich and the lady that made the sandwich actually took her t-shirt and wiped her nose myself and another patron witnessed her doing this and when I called her attention to what she had done she lied and said she didn't do it but she did I asked for my money back which was $12.95 or something like that I was appalled and she had the audacity to act as though she was frustrated after I stood there forever just to wait to get one sandwich now mind you there had been a big order evidently that had been sent over that was not ready yet there was no apologies offered just the lie that she did not wipe her nose on her shirt while I stood there watching with another patron I just asked for my money back I will never go there again it had been many years since I've gone to that location anyway I was not feeling well I had just left a doctor's appointment and I was so disgusted with the service as I left I said I will never come here again Penn station has really good sandwiches normally but this particular location struck out big time struck out.... And at the beginning of baseball season??? I hope there was a camera rolling when she took the neckline of her t-shirt and wiped her nose or face because she would not tell the truth I even bought a cookie that I could not dare eat not after witnessing what I did I don't say that all Penn stations are the same but this particular one will never see me again never nor would I recommend them it was very chaotic$13 for a sandwich let the mirror thought of now makes me want to barf I could have gone to White Castle and got a luggage full of hamburgers????...

Pen Station offers amazing sub options with flavor profiles higher than any other sub shop I've eated at. My son even raves that this is his new favorite place to eat.

Of course I went for the Grilled and tosted sub...with oven roated turkey!!!! Oh and with the works. It was amazing. The smokey flavor in the turkey was not at all lost...it stood out while still working well together with the spreads and veggies.

The fries! Wow so crispy and the crunch lasted even after leaving them in the car by accident. The seasoning from the fries with the rosted toasted flavors in my sandwich were a match made in heaven. Not to mention the extras they toss in the bag!!!

My son had teriyaki chicken and inhaled it 😆

We'll definitely be making this a favorite on our map. Oh and you can ordrr online...which makes the wait much shorter. Otherwise, you'll be waiting a while for your sandwich if you order when...

The place had only two customers, myself and one other (for part of the time). I was there for approximately 25 minutes. There were three employees. The only male employee was laid out sleeping in one of the back booths with his feet blocking the aisle to the restrooms. He was sleeping the entire time I was there. One female employee sat in a booth on her phone unless she was serving myself or the other customer. I mention this not because I think there’s anything wrong with employees taking a break but because the place was really filthy and there was plenty of cleaning that could be done. The third employee (female and the only African American) was working the entire time, either serving customers or cleaning. Her fellow employees should take note of her work ethic. As for the food, the BLT was ok except the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes were mushy. The fries were...
