Restaurant lobby hours clearly posted closed at 10 pm. Walked into a opened lobby at 9:12 pm and rudely told that lobby was closed and the manager pointed toward the drive thru window and was told that I had to go to the drive thru. I told her that I didn't drive since I was at the hotel and she said I still had to walk to the drive thru window. I then jumped in line with cars ahead of me and behind me. When I got to the window, I had to tell the drive thru window order taker THREE times what I wanted to order. I paid for my order and then had to wait in line to get my food which was not what I ordered. By the time I got it the second time, I received two different sized drinks which were supposed to be the same size. When I got back to the hotel, one of my cheese dogs had had a half of a bun.
I asked for the managers name and after asking twice, I was told her name was Angel. I did not receive an apology for being told that I had to walk through the drive thru. A driver that was behind me in line stated that the company made me look demeaning and embarrassing and that I could have easily been hit by a vehicle in the dark driveway due to being told to go thru the drive thru which was a 10 minute wait between two cars.
This manager needs to be terminated and new rules set in place to keep the lobby open until posted closing hours and not to tell customers that they need to walk thru the drive thru. If I would have been struck by a vehicle, I would be suing this location for millions of dollars. Managers need to use common sense. I will no longer visit this restaurant nor will I recommend this restaurant to my guests and friends. This restaurant has many bad reviews and it's obvious that the General Managers and District Managers need to make major improvements to...
Read moreI ordered my food with the app and chose the option to pick it up at the drive up window. I arrived at the drive up intercom, told the woman inside my name, and that I was picking up a mobile order. She told me I had to come inside to get my food, but I replied to her that I had chosen drive through pick up in the app. She replied, "This store doesn't do that."
So I parked my car and went inside. As I entered the restaurant a female Krystal employee walked past me carrying someone else's order to their car. Go figure!
Side Story:
While I was standing at the counter, a male customer walked in with a problem with his order. He had chosen a number 5 that included chili cheese fries, but he wanted plain fries. He apologized for his mistake, and asked the female employee if she could exchange his chili cheese fries for plain fries. She emotionlessly went to the back and returned with another bag. The man looked inside the bag to find that she had replaced his chili cheese fries with (take a guess) another order of chili cheese fries. He told her politely again that he wanted plain fries. The woman answered that the number 5 came with chili cheese fries. Again the man apologized for his mistake, but told her again he wanted plain fries. Finally the lightbulb must have lit up in this woman's head, because she finally went back again and returned with regular fries. The man politely thanked her and left the restaurant.
I'm almost sure this was the same employee I had spoken with earlier who told me I had to pick up my mobile order inside the restaurant instead of at the drive through window.
I like Krystal, but it will be a long time before I go back to the one in...
Read moreUnfortunately I am only able to resort to leaving a Google review about the poor treatment I received upon visiting this location. I would like to speak to the manager about my experience BUT I believe they are the ones I am having to report. I tried ordering food in the drive-through around 4 AM and nobody would respond at the speaker. I sat there between five and 10 minutes and nobody said anything. I drove around to the window and did not see anyone so I drove back around to the speaker to see if maybe they would’ve seen my car at the window.
I waited another 5+ minutes shouting hello into the speaker and nobody said anything again. I returned to the window only this time to find who I assume to be the manager standing in the kitchen writing on a clipboard. They looked up at my car and stared at me for at least two minutes while glancing down at their clipboard occasionally until they decided to just vanish out of sight. Not once did this man approach the window to ask me what I wanted to order.
The sad thing is all I wanted was a cup of tea and he could not even answer the speaker to assist me with that. I waved at him and honked my horn and he still ignored me. He could not even bother to walk to the window and at least say Krystals was closed. He seemed as if he couldn’t care less to do his job.
I was not the only one in the drive-through during this unfortunate encounter. There were at least two or three other cars who this individual ignored to which they had to speed off as well. I am not sure who this was but I know he was a taller slim white male who I assume was the manager. I would love to speak with someone above management about my experience at...
