There are several reasons why I like the store out in Tillmans corner. Number one I’ve been a customer of Sherance for many years now and she has always taken care of me. Number two I like the furniture. Number three I have not really had a bad customer service experience there. Everyone always seems to want to help show me around the store until I let them know that Sharon is my girl. Now as soon , As to the reasons for the three-star rating is not because of the Tillmans Corner store, but because of the Saraland store. Approximately 15 years ago when we first started doing business with Jane J furniture we purchased a very expensive living room and bedroom suit. With our bedroom suit we ordered the whole suit and did not receive the $400 nightstands each that went with it. Nor did we receive the canopy rails to hold the curtains on our canopy bed. That was very disappointing. They did not have either in tables nor could they find canopy rails when they were notified about the missing items. So, I have given three stars for those reasons. Now, also I have one more complaint. I paid off all my furniture a year ago and on my credit report it still shows that I have a $65 balance when in actuality A zero balance. I’ve called and requested them to fix it and they said they would. It’s been a year almost and still I’m showing a $65 balance on my credit report. Read moreVisited America's Thrift Store @ Tillman's Square. Found several neat items. Found a entertainment center for $30 and the Security Guard helped me by finding a tape measure so I could check it's size. Needed to go measure my van to make sure it would fit. Another older employee rudely informed me I was not to exit that door. Told them I did not want the item. As I was exiting I asked for the Manager. While she was reroute another employee told me the same man had been rude to her this a.m. Explained what happened to "Manager" but got the feeling nothing would happen as result of my complaint. The rude employee soured my opinion of this place; everyone else were great

Returned to this store met Manager (Cynthia) who is a pleasure to deal with. Purchased patio9 in furniture, dresser, and framed artwork. This place has great prices if you like solid wood furniture (desks, tables, etc.) Young man (Jacob) is helpful , courteous, and respectful. Also, the employee who had a bad attitude on my previous visit helped load my furniture. Today he was good. Everyone has bad days; maybe he was just trying to do his job: I overheard him tell someone else customers cannot use the side entrance. Check out the credsenza I found. Solid Cherry. 6 feet long. Read moreI purchased a living room set...I was happy with that, I also purchased a bedroom set they did not deliver the chest dresser I was out of town when it was delivered so I noticed this piece was missing I called them I told them of the missing piece so they too 2 weeks to deliver it and on top of that I had purchased a china cabinet set and we discovered that it was to large for the room I purchased it for they charged me $650.00 o cancel telling me that it was restock for so I ask them how can you charge a restock fee for something that has not left the left the floor yet they then came up with the excuse about it had been ordered but would not be in until 6 to 8 weeks and I also purchased a recliner chair on July 31,2014 chair still not here so I called they told me it would be here on September 17,2014 now are they going to pay me a late fee.
