I wish there was a manner to issue zero stars for this location. On Monday, Sep 30, 2019 at 4:09 pm I approached the drive- thru of this location, and placed an order for a 20 piece fried hot wing. I was told the total and to pull forward by a male CSR. Upon approaching the payment window, I paid the total for my order and then I was immediately asked to pull forward ,park and the staff would bring my order out to me. I kindly declined and explained to the gentleman at the window, if I had wanted to park I would have and would have proceeded into the dining area to sit and place my order. Fast forward 10 minutes, after the snide remarks, leers and rolling of the eyes by different team members, the staff then proceeded to approach the vehicles in line behind me and take orders, payments and deliver food meanwhile my order was still not filled. If this was not insulting enough, one of the young black women proceeded to - from her personal cell phone-call the Mobile Police Department on me for not pulling forward. Yes! Can you actually believe that. The MPD approached my vehicle at 4:29 pm while I was on the phone with the KFC Corporate Offices filing a grievance. When the MPD approached my truck I rolled down my window and they were able to see the Mobile County Sheriff Badge on my Husbands work coat. I also produced my receipt for food that I had not yet received.Needless to say, there were extremely annoyed and embarrassed. The Woman on the phone from the Corporate Offices advised the Police officers that this was ABSOLUTELY NOT THEIR POLICY! The Police Officers apologized for the mix up and left immediately. While still on the phone with the Corporate Office, I pulled into the parking lot, turned off my vehicle and went inside and kindly requested a full refund! The Corporate Office apologized profusely and advised that a Regional Manager would be in contact with me expeditiously. While getting my refund from the Manager on Duty, Ms. Dortch, she advised that she was unaware that a member of her team had even called the Police and she stated that the wings are made to order. I suggested that maybe they should put signage out there at the ordering speaker stating as much, or if not then the customer should be advised at the time of order, that Hot Wings orders are not accepted at the drive thru since they are made to order. But at no time was contacting the Police an acceptable solution for their lack of Customer Focus or Speedy Service. I was at no time rude, belligerent, obnoxious or demeaning to any member of her staff- I will NEVER dine in or out of another...
Read moreOkay, my experience here was kind of two fold.. The girl who waited on me doesn't pay attention to what the customer or people say and is rather arrogant, smug and smart about it.... LOL.. This will catch up to her one day ;-).. She cannot make change or think for herself... BUT... LUCKILY.. The manager was right there and saw the entire situation undold and her actions and attitude happen.. Which he's not going to do nothing to her because I think she runs him, but, still at least I was Vindicated and Justified almost instantly and I laughed in her face -LOL- as his presence was not known to her.LOL.. HA HA.. he on the other hand, He the Manager was quite the opposite.. He wad very concerned, caring, decent, pleasant and outgoing.. He helped everybody, talk to everybody.... somehow I feel if they swap personalities they both be better at their jobs.. Overall, the food was good. It was hot and tasty.. I got a pot pie this time, which is the first time I have ever had one.. This paticular location has a buffet that looked pretty good.. Read moreI had a bad experience with this location on Sunday. My husband and I went in after church to have a meal. I saw the $5 Box add on the window. The picture showed $5 and it had a list of meals under the same $5 . Thigh,leg,biscuit,cream potatoes, drink, cookie Breast, biscuit,cream potatoes, drink, cookie 3 chicken strips, biscuit, cream potatoes, drink, cookie And so on.
I ask for the breast box was charged $7 for that meal I ask if I could trade the strips for 3 wings (wings have lot less meat). The young man at the register said yes. I then ask for 2 sides of coleslaw.
When checking my order, it was wrong. The manager came up to check it out and was very rude. She took my receipt and checked my food boxes, took a cream potatoes out and traded it for a small order, luggage through the bag and took a cookie out said I didn't get it with my order. I only receive @ coleslaw and she said I owed 2.41 for a small coleslaw and I said for it. She was very unprofessional rummaging through our bag with her bare hands, unclean. We will never go back into that KFC again. If she treats all your customers the way she treated me, she won't have any customers...
