Below is my original review..where id given them a two. Since then, the OWNER contacted me to give them another chance, and theyd install my mobo for free. I JUST NEEDED A 50CENT RIBBON CABLE. But i took it up there anyway. Didnt bother to mwntion my previous experience with a different location, and instead was a polite and thankful new customer. That was... 9 days ago. At the one week mark i went up there and they hadnt even LOOKED at it. Contacted owner again, and was very polite. I couldnt get it fixed before and lost my job, NOW I cant get ANOTHER job because my laptop is STILL down. He said he was on his way there and would contact me shortly. That was 3 days ago. Fmits bow monday and im comming for my stuff, and it all better be there. Theyve now been downgraded to ONE Star. And it was a long road they traveled to get here, requiring inconpetance on every level from workers at several locations to the owner himself. Three failed attempts and two seperate locations. If thats not a fair review...i dont know what is. I give a 2 because ive still heard good things, however, on two seperate occassions tried to use them. First was water on my keyboard that my girlfriend took up there while i was out of town. The keyboard was $40 online and they quoted over $100. Plus, they wanted ovrr $100 for labor. This model took a flat screwdriver to pop it off and plug in another. Took me 3 minutes and change. To get it BACK they wanted a diagnostic fee despite advertising to the contrary. I told them i was leaving with it, and they were WELVOME to try and stop me. Months later I was stuck at work and needed to inquire about a repair by email to a different location of theirs. Their website has a form for this. I sent it twice. On both occassions I didnt recieve any type of reply whatsoever. And, as such, i still dont have a working laptop at home - just a doorstop. Read moreComputer Resource installed a video screen cable that I purchased off Amazon for my laptop that was displaying a blank white screen which requires disassembling the entire mother board as well as removing the screen bezel. I took my laptop and cable to them on Saturday 9/17/16 at 12 noon and they where done with it by 3:15 pm. They close on Saturdays at 3 pm which means they could have closed down and left and made me wait until Monday to pick up my laptop, but they didn't. The guy who installed my video screen cable said he had to install it twice because the first time it didn't work because of the way the supplier (Amazon seller) had it wrapped/coiled up in the box, but after playing around with it, he got it to work. He could have called me after the first time he tried it and just said it was a bad cable, but NO, he went the extra mile to satisfy his customer. When I brought my laptop in, the screen and bezel was loose due to the fact that I changed out the screen myself by following a YouTube video thinking that would fix my issue (which it didn't) and while doing so, I broke off some of the screws that hold the screen in place. The guy working on my laptop was able to put my screen and bezel back together correctly so you could never tell I broke the screws within it without me even asking him to do so. To top it all off, they only charged me a total of $ 50. I wasted $ 50 at another computer repair shop for them to do a "diagnosis" / absolutely nothing for me, if anything, made my situation worst. These guys actually know what they are doing. They are fast at their services, reliable, and their prices are fair....
