I am a senior at South Alabama and have been here on multiple occasions and I have to say, this is the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. The building is run down, the staff are rude, and the food is even worse than the service. Every single time I have been to this location, it's the same thing, an evil death stare from the employees and rude service. (I am so sorry that I am an inconvenience to the staff, however, just like everyone else, I have to eat too.) Walking in, you will see employees out in the booths and tables on their phones or talking to someone who most likely doesn't work there and is just their friends giving you the stare. Then, when you walk up to the counter, the snooty attitudes begin followed by terrible service and the unimaginable stares again from the employees. Instead of talking to the customers, they will literally just stare and wait for you to order. (Once again, I am so sorry you have to talk to me.) Finally, you will get your food. However, if you expected it to be warm and fresh, you are in the wrong... Oh, and if they get it right. I will say, I am not one to complain, however, after today, I had to. Ill explain today's situation. Walked to the counter and an employee standing by the front door came to help me, however, an Indian girl working for them stepped up and asked if she can help me. The manager/employee said, "Well, since you are so eager, help him." So, the Indian girl is helping me and I ordered and then all of a sudden out of nowhere, she is rude as hell. Basically, I think she learned this from the other employees. She was looking back at the manager who was laughing because she thought it was hilarious and the Indian girl thought she was doing good... I DID NOT FIND IT FUNNY. They are using that poor girl as a joke and teaching her wrong. She is simply learning from them and it is sad. This could have been an opportunity for her to learn the ins and outs of customer service and the other employees have completely ruined it and turned her into a monster. I left and will probably never return until some sort of change occurs. I will be trying to get a hold of someone in upper management at the head office, however, until this place is completely gutted of the employees that it has... it will never change. It's scathing to think that people are treated so poorly, for simple amusement. This occurred 8/14/2017...
Read moreI was here at around 10:00 to 10:30am time frame. The drive thru was backed up around the building so I decided to go inside. When I got inside there only 2 or 3 people waiting there. When I walked up to the counter there was no one at the register. After a minute or two the clerk came and took my order. I waited about 6 or 7 mins and had to get a clerks attention as they walked by as no one was at the counter. They said they were working on my order and would get it out soon. After another couple of minutes my order was given to me. Ok, about my complaint. I know that Covid 19 has affected many businesses very much, but there should be a dedicated clerk at the inside window as well as the drive thru window. It seemed to me that the store was understaffed and managed incorrectly as far as the job assignments in behind the counter were set out. The food was warm and tasted ok, I just didn't like having to wait so long to...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I mean, I know McDonald’s isn’t supposed to be fine dining, but this place really lowers the bar. I’ve made the mistake of drunk-buying food here several times, and I’ve concluded that this place is worse than just staying hungry. Let me rant: The Coke doesn’t even taste like coke. It never has... You can sort of taste a odd mustiness. The Hot n Spicy sandwiches are limp. It’s southern Alabama, our fried chicken should have a crust. This doesn’t. This time I just ordered an ice cream cone (surprisingly the machine wasn’t down) but then they asked me to pull forward to wait on it (idk why it would take so long for a single cone...) and I do. I’m out here for 5 minutes and then I see the employee walking aimlessly through the parking lot with a...
