I really had the intention on getting some sushi. After all Rock N Roll Sushi is a sushi restaurant. To be completely transparent I donât eat raw sushi. My sushi tastes are very elementary and cooked. I believe the first time I came here I had the spicy crawfish roll. My initial thought was to order the spicy crawfish roll and the egg rolls. Then the eel roll caught my attention. At some some point I thought for sure I was going with the shrimp tempura roll. Then I wandered off the classic menu and went to the starter menu. I was really digging the headbangers shrimp until a few seconds later. I decided to make a gut call for the stage divers. I wasnât exactly sure why because earlier in day I decided I had enough chicken for the day. I did keep my earlier egg roll inclination as well. As usual I ordered online. The wait time was about 20 minutes. I arrived to pick up my food. The restaurant wasnât packed but had a nice amount of patrons dining in. Since I made it to restaurant before approximate wait time I had couple of minutes before my pickup was ready. I was out of there in no time. When I returned home I was starving. I opened the plates and my food looked amazing. I tried the egg rolls first and they tasted like some of the best prepared egg rolls I had ever had. They were fried to perfection. They came with a chili sauce that was so good. The stage divers were next. I was absolutely blown away with the flavor of these chicken bites. They were so tender and seasoned well. The stage divers came with the same chili sauce that was paired with the egg rolls. A ginger flavored sauce also accompanied it. As stated before I loved the chili sauce. I didnât love it but it wasnât awful. I really loved the meal as a whole. If youâre not totally into the sushi scene this place has some enjoyable options to choose from. I give this...

Most of the tables were dirty when we arrived, and the bathroom was even worse â urine on the floor and no paper towels in sight.
The food was just as disappointing. The âfried riceâ looked like plain white rice with soy sauce dumped on top â no seasoning, no stir-fry flavor, just mushy and sticky. Easily some of the worst rice Iâve ever tasted. The steak was tender but completely bland, like unseasoned microwave meat. The broccoli was completely raw and just tossed on the plate, and there was an overwhelming amount of carrots, which made it feel like they were trying to fill the plate with cheap veggies instead of actual steak. The portion size of the steak was nothing like what they advertise in the photos.
The service wasnât any better. I waited at the front to speak to someone, but the staff had disappeared for nearly 20 minutes. One girl was visibly on her phone in the back and didnât acknowledge me until I called the store myself. Then she casually walked to the front like I hadnât been standing there the whole time.
Our sushi sat on the counter for at least 10 minutes before anyone brought it to us, and we never got drink refills. To top it off, there wasnât a single Asian person working there, which might explain why the food didnât taste remotely authentic. I honestly donât know how this place has any positive reviews. If youâve ever had real Asian food, this place will be a huge letdown.
I wouldnât recommend it â unless youâre okay gambling with your time, money, and taste buds. We ate and didnât complain to them directly. After driving for over 8hrs we just sucked it up and ate it. I was too tired to look for...
Read moreMediocre experience every time we have ordered from here. Most recently I placed a large to go order for a birthday party and when arriving to pick it up was informed the order had not been started because of the cost of the order. Their online order system does not allow for pre-paying -- the only option is to pay when picking up. The host/server told me she was going to call about not starting the order until it had been paid for but that she couldn't find my phone number (even though it is a required field when placing an online order and appears directly below my name on the receipt/order confirmation). Twenty minutes into waiting for the order I was told that they didn't know how to make one of the items ordered because it is not on their menu (even though it IS on their online takeout menu for this specific location and is also easy to Google how to make?). The only positive is the location, but I should have just spent the extra time driving to a better franchise rather than sitting 35+ minutes in the restaurant waiting for a to go order that didn't include everything I paid for.
I cannot respond to the owner's response to my review so ETA: I did not receive the Sashimi Tobikko (4 pcs sliced cucumber topped with tobiko), which was the item the staff did not know how to make. I was offered a side of tobiko for my order instead and when I got to my destination was surprised to see how little was provided. I suppose a half ounce to-go serving of tobiko is one way of "finding out how to make it." I should have included that information in my original review and in retrospect should have requested a refund...
