Horrible all around! Eat here if you like excruciating stomach pain and diarrhea! Passing by Mobile from MS and stopped at this place to eat. Called in prior and asked if they had a wait and she said no wait so we get there and waited around 20 mins. Ok fine. Ordered some apps. Egg drop soup was completely bland and watery; 1 egg dropped in 4 cups of water. The service is even more horrible. My drink cup sat empty for most of the time. Even though I asked multiple times for a refill, no one came back to refill. I choked on some food and needed my drink to clear my throat with. I got the attention of The manager lady and she’s signaling me to calm down then she disappears and when trying to get the attention of the other employees, they just ignored me. Eventually she comes back out and I’m literally waving my hand in the air trying to get her attention and she signaled to me 4 fingers. Idk what that meant. Eventually the food came out and finally got a refill after finishing the food! Smh. Warning!! Do not order the LARB!! I only ate like 3 spoon fulls of the larb and I knew something was wrong. I had excruciating stomach pain and diarrhea, vomiting all night. Never in my life have I ever had stomach pain like this. When I tried to explain this to the manager, only thing she said was “I will let the chef know.” Def would not recommend this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Siam Thai, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a clean and beautifully appointed interior that set the perfect ambiance for our meal.
We started with the Panang curry, which was nothing short of fantastic. The rich, creamy sauce paired perfectly with the tender vegetables, we decided veggies only and didn't miss the meat. Equally impressive was the Siam Fried Rice; it was a delightful medley of fresh vegetables, shrimp and perfectly cooked rice, making it a must-try for anyone visiting.
Another highlight was the teriyaki salmon. It was cooked to perfection, with a delicious glaze that complemented the fish beautifully, leaving us completely satisfied.
What’s even better is that the take-home food is just as delicious as dining in! We've ordered for take out and delivery and both times the food was just as wonderful as our dine in experience, which is a true testament to the quality of their dishes.
To top it all off, we enjoyed some wonderful live music on Friday evening, adding to the overall delightful experience. If you’re looking for a fantastic meal in a lovely setting, Siam Thai is definitely...
Read moreMy husband wanted some thai food for his birthday so he picked this place which we'd never been to before. It's located in a little strip mall and inside is nicely decorated and clean. I will say the booth was a little small usually at other places my adult son and I are comfortable on one side but here felt a little squished. The service was very attentive and they filled our glasses a few times. We had the crab Rangoon and calamari for appetizers both we've had at other places. we liked the crab rangoon a lot, shell was crispy and it had a bit of sweetness to it. The calamari was a tad chewy and I think the breading overpowered it a bit. Still good however. For dinners, husband had Pad Thai level 4 spice (he loves spicy) which he liked, son had crab fried rice-good portion and lots of bits of crab and I had beef lomein noodles-level 1 spice because I can't tolerate it at all. It was flavorful without being spicy. 2 of us had the soup and one had the salad. We felt whatever spice was in the soup was really strong and didn't care for it, but if you liked that particular flavor you'd probably enjoy it. The salad was fresh. Overall service was attentive and the food was good, we will be back to try...
