Good food but very slow service. Two young people working the customer area. There were maybe 3 other tables filled besides us. The young lady waiting on other tables was very efficient and super friendly. Maybe the guy waiting on us was new and couldn’t juggle the two tables he had with answering the phone and getting take out orders ready. We got our water and apps quickly but then he never came back to take our entree orders. I asked the other waitress who told us he had to take our order but after awhile longer she decided to take it. The food took a long time to come out and I’m pretty sure some of the people who called to order take out while we were there came and got their food and left before we ever got our food. No one ever came back to our table until they brought the check so no drink refills. It seemed there was a lot of wrong items for the takeout orders and a bunch of confusion between the two taking care of customers so I guess that was the...

Came here thinking they would have sushi and ginger, BC ginger would help upset stomach, but they did not have ginger. Fantastic summer rolls w tofu, fresh basil leaves, lettuce, carrots & rice noodles w yummy peanut sauce. Veggie Lo mein order was problematic for them though. Not well informed on ingredients. Didn't give us what we ordered, so they had to remake it, and then, for $9.95, the amount was skimpy, w only cabbage, onions, carrots and hardly any tofu. We did take- out due to not feeling well, and the extra wait was extra awful. You would think when a place gets it wrong they will make it up to you somehow. Could have offered a drink for the wait. Or extra tofu. Or something. They should put a sandwich board sign out by the road w a balloon so ppl know they're there. Well-lit shopping center, but kinda dead at night on the end where this restaurant is, so need to...

Wow, hands down best Thai food in Mobile. Easily one of the best meals I've had in the city. We started with some basil rolls with tofu. The basil was super fresh and the penut sauce was spot in. Their pad Thai was delicious and even at 3 *s had just enough kick (could easily have gone hotter). Many restaurants use fish sauce in their pad Thai, but Thai diner does not and the result is fantastic. The massaman curry with chicken was packed with flavor. The chicken and veggies were all cooked perfectly.

I highly recommend this place. Service was very friendly and fast. Also even at dinner nearly all their dishes are under $10. Best value I've seen in a while. Easily worth the drive from anywhere in the Mobile Bay area! If you have been awaiting a good Thai place, we...

Fantastic experience! I came around 5:30pm on a Saturday and I was shocked at how empty it was in the restaurant. The waitresses took care of me very well and my drunken noodles were incredible — my food came out fresh and hot only about 10 minutes after I ordered, which was such a nice surprise! I got a spice level one for my dish and it was perfect. The employees were so nice and my food was delicious. And the prices were the most affordable I’ve ever seen at a Thai restaurant. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in the area!!

A visit to Mobile is not complete unless you have enjoyed dinner at Thai Diner. Tonight was our fourth visit. We live up North and travel here to visit our daughter. This is now our routine when we come to town. We have enjoyed some of the best Thai cuisine coast-to-coast and this particular gem offers some of the best in the country. Looking forward to our next visit!
