Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Modesto

They serve raw chicken patties sometimes. The night shift has figured out how to push the chicken patties in farther in the oven so they roll out sooner, raw and not cooked nearly enough. It is very strange to bite into raw chicken. We are so used to it being cooked.

Management: Put cameras up in your cook & prep area so that you can properly supervise your staff. Management: You have been notified that your staff is purposefully serving raw chicken patties in sandwiches. You are responsible if anyone gets sick or dies. Management: Please fugure-out how to properly supervise your staff. This has been going on for years. No way your on-site managers don't know what is going on. Hint: They are there, they know and they haven't even attempted to fix it.

Upper management: Change managers if necessary. The night crew at this location have been purposely serving food in an unsatisfactory manner for years so that customers won't come back and they have a lighter work-load during their shifts. Their other tricks include shorting people on the number of chicken tenders, not giving requested sauces, etc.

I guess the investors of this restaurant don't care if their crew has been purposefully serving bad food and messing up on orders for years so the customers don't come back and they have an easier shift.

They have been sacrificing the owner's profits for a lighter work-load.

The situation is awful because other Carl's Jr.'s who don't have "crew corruption" can really make some great food, like big & juicy western bacon...

18feb18 9:04pm last night I ordered food through the drive through. A bacon western with cheese and fried zucchini. I was so hungry and had been such a long time since I had a burger. Carl's Jr. Was my first choice!!! Got my food and got home a few minutes later. Zucchini was hot and nice. Then the burger. That dam burger was a hockey puck. The cheese literally crusted off into my lap. The patty had a black ring around it and was cold. The onion ring looked like it had been on 3 other burgers before mine. It was such a disappointment. After the 1st bite I threw it away. It was so cold and old. The bun felt like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. Needless to say after 3 bad experiences at the same Carl's Jr I'm DONE!!!!

CONSISTENTLY BELOW POOR QUALITY. HORRIBLE COLD FOOD. NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER. NO RESPECT FOR YOUR JOBS. NO RESPECT FOR YOURSELF.

What a bad combination...

My $20 meal at this Carl's Jr on Pelandale was nothing short of a rip-off. It felt like I paid for a gourmet experience and received something more akin to a fast-food letdown. The value for money was simply not there, and I would have been disappointed even if I had paid just $5 for this meal.

Adding insult to injury was their new advertised Char Burger. I was excited to try it, but what I received was more like a char-smashed slider. The burger patty was minuscule, and it was dwarfed by the massive iceberg lettuce they piled on it. It felt more like a snack than a satisfying burger, and it certainly didn't live up to the promotional images.

All in all, my visit to this Carl's Jr was a letdown on every front - from the watered-down lemonade to the tiny burger patties, tasteless lettuce, and inconsistent, oddly seasoned fries. It's safe to say I won't be returning anytime soon, especially with these kind of prices for what felt like a subpar fast...
