"Crossing Mattréssio" Episode 2

Regardless of her obvious feelings Mattrèssio persisted but never overstepped her boundaries, always digging for more details in a respectful manner. Weeks passed with battles won, and admiration gained, they suffered their first bitter lose together. He wanted badly to be a comfort to her but didn't know how, so instead, he attended to the rest of his brothers and sisters. During their victories, she would keep her distance from Mattréssio, celebrating with her soldiers instead, but during their lose, she struggled to keep her composure in front of them. Watching her in his free moments, he found that she often leaned heavily on her faith in God for comfort and counsel to, in turn, encourage and comfort her comrades in their desolate moments. Mattréssio was amazed with her resourcefulness and even more in her firm faith during these trying times.

Then, on their next mission, things turned for the worst again, only this time they didn't make it home. The battle was fierce, and they put up a good fight, but they were surrounded and grossly outnumbered. The battle ended with an explosion near Mattréssio, knocking him unconscious. When he awoke to an enemy soldier tying him up, he saw his soldiers all over the ground, some dead and some restrained. He looked frantically for Major Ròca, but he couldn't lift himself high enough to see her. One of his men was visible, but only for a moment, the enemy was not willing to put up with his unruly behavior and shot him in the chest, dropping him to the ground. Moments later, they were all lifted up to begin their march to the enemy base. The enemies transportation was lost during the battle, so marching through the Rocklin jungle was the only choice for the remaining nine soldiers. Mattréssio counted nearly thirty enemy soldiers but was then blind folded before he could find Major Ròca. Nightfall came, and they were all sat down to rest, but Mattréssio couldn't, Major Ròca was running through his mind. Forbidden to speak to each other, he had no idea who he was sitting next to, but as the enemy snoring began, he whispered to the soldier next to him. Major Ròca.

Drew was the BEST representative of your Mattress Firm company. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, respectful, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend your company and in particular this Modesto store because of Drew! He was also thoughtful, patient, thorough, answered all questions and assisted my sister and I in making a timely decision about which mattress my brother would buy for her birthday. Ordinarily, it would take us much, much longer to make that type of decision. We felt very confident making the decision because we felt very comfortable with Drew and the information and guidance he provided. It was extremely helpful that there was such a variety of mattress selections and brands in the store to "try out". If that had not been the case, we would have left the store without deciding and looked somewhere else that had more of a selection. I never felt pressured or "hurried along" by Drew. I felt he genuinely cared that we had all the information we needed to choose the perfect mattress to meet the particular and unique needs of my sister. Thank you Drew for a great experience in mattress shopping. To be honest, I had been dreading that shopping trip for a couple of weeks and was expecting it to take much much longer and be much more stressful. But to my pleasant surprise, it was just the opposite. Drew made it easy and even fun. So kuddos to Drew at the Modesto Mattress Firm II store (across the way from Target). I will recommend him and the store to anyone I know looking...

Gary was the gentlemen who helped me through my purchase and he was an absolute delight; Knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient. He took the time to explain everything to me without droning on and on like some salespeople will do. The one or two questions I did have he answered honestly and never tried to push me into anything over my budget.

Everyone knows...time is money...Well, I work in San Francisco and don't typically get home in time to do any major purchase shopping after work but since I had a trifecta of a great salesman, clear budget in mind and had browsed the website I felt prepared and confident that i'd make it in before store closing - I gave Gary a call to let him know i'd be coming by to look a few options and...HE OFFERED TO STAY IN CASE I HIT TRAFFIC! Now if that's not top notch service I don't know what is ; )

Service is a huge deal to me but of course another factor is price, I felt like I got a great deal and walked away feeling excited about my purchase and comfortable with the zero-interest 6 month plan we agreed on.
