I'll say the food was excellent. There are some things that you'll not find in other local Indian restaurants. It is well worth a visit! I tried several different naan and roti and they were all fresh and flavorful. The portions were more generous than some other local Indian places, but not super large. Good flavor! I can't recall the drink, but they have an interesting basil, rose, gel milk drink that was pretty nice, if you are at all adventurous.
Seating is wooden chairs and tables. No booths. There is a buffet, but it hasn't been reopened since COVID. The thermostat was a little warm, especially for serving hot and spicy foods. I noticed loose linoleum, but you'd have to step a little past the counter to hit it.
That being said, the waiter didn't take my order for a very long time (maybe the first person that told me to sit down didn't inform him that he needed to get my order?), didn't bring a drink until the food was ready (the first lady did bring us all bottled waters after awhile), and forgot something I ordered (I ordered 3 different drinks and he forgot Chai). Once my order was in, it wasn't a very long wait. I think the waiter might need to either have a little more training or learn a different system of writing down orders. He wrote everything down long hand, which was much slower than elsewhere. I'd suggest either writing dish numbers, shorthand, or a checkbox system with the only writing being modifications of the dishes. Because of the combination of small things, a late lunch ended up...
Read moreI recently ordered takeout from Tandoori Masala Indian Cuisine and was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and service. The flavors and aromas were absolutely amazing, and I could tell that the chefs take great care in preparing their dishes with fresh ingredients and traditional Indian spices.
I ordered several dishes, including the chicken tikka masala, and the garlic naan. Each dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy. The garlic naan was also a standout, perfectly crispy and warm, and the ideal accompaniment to the rich, flavorful curries.
The dishes were neatly packed and properly labeled, which made it very easy for me to identify each dish. The portions were generous, so I had enough for several meals.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and my order was ready on time, so I didn't have to wait long to...
Read moreRestaurant is good, but DO NOT GET THE DESSERT (Gulab Jamun). Honestly, I recommend they take it off the menu. It made me feel sick afterwards, and the flavor is awkward. And it's drenched in what seems like high fructose corn syrup. Terrible. Plus it's more than $4, and just ruins your meal (you are better off buying your favorite dessert from the store). Just stick with their classics please! I've had the butter chicken and Tikka masala, they were really good. The bone-in goat curry is not as good in my opinion (plus I asked for it "spicy", and it didn't have any spice). The Naan is amazing and the rice is just like homemade rice (really good). The lady taking my order was super pleasant and friendly. You'll love this place, just stay away from that dessert❗️ I'm definitely going to go again, but I wish I could get...
