Denny's — Restaurant in Modesto

This is the worse dennys I’ve ever been to… I’m only putting 1 star because I have to. Service was SUPER SLOW like it took 30 minutes to get napkins and then they gave us 1 per person(we had 4 kids who ordered spaghetti) when I had to go ask for more only gave me 4 saying that’s “literally all they had”, then my sandwich was super cold I had to ask them to microwave it. Also for $2.99 an egg, I had to order them 2xs then was charge for all eggs$12 of eggs that weren’t even cooked right. The waitress NEVER went to ask if we needed refills we were out of drinks for over half the time we were there until the time we left! The nachos we ordered were appetizers, and they came out with the food, also the skillet was COLD! … The bacon was so hard and greasy!, also we ordered 4 kids meals and should have received the 2 free when it should of been 3. I should mention that this place was DEAD when we went in there is NO reason for service to be this BAD AND SLOW!!I will never go back to this place!! If your in a time crunch don’t go here, the waitress takes about 20 minutes to go back with something you asked for and acts like it’s a chore to give...

Well tonight my family and I decided to stop here and have dinner. The place only had about 3 other tables occupied so we thought it would go well. We were wrong. Our server was very nice but was not trained very well or did not retain how to do his job. We were never asked if we wanted refills I had to ask for more drinks for my family. I ordered a side salad with my meal and did not receive it title I asked for it as our server was bringing out our meals. my son got his food (American grand slam) he did not receive his toast so we asked where the toast was and our server said he would go and get it. We all ate our entire dinner before we saw the waiter again and he came up and asked if there was anything else we needed at this point is when I asked for refills and again for my son's toast. He said oh yes I will go and get that. He brought our drinks and said the toast would be right out. At this point we were done and wanted to check out so I told him to get give it to us in a go box. I often enjoy my breakfast at Denny's on Orangeburg in Modesto. Today I had the opportunity to find some time to share my review of this Dennys and of their employees. My husband and I had our Valentine's breakfast here today. I was so amazed on how the group of ladies work great together and get the job done quickly and professionally. I enjoyed watching how great they worked well together as a team and also as a individual. Vero, the cook did an amazing job getting all the orders out so quick on a busy morning! She is the bomb! The friendly waitresses, Eva and Favi made our visit very pleasant. Both so kind and very welcoming and hard workers. Angela, the manager is also the bomb! She was very friendly, took a moment from her busy schedule to talk with my husband and I. Very friendly, great sense of humor and showed great professionalism and pride in her restaurant as she does of her employees. The place is clean with a very comfortable atmosphere. I will always return to this Dennys and I highly recommend...
