The food overall is nice. Mostly we have it Togo. However we decided to dine there. The ambience was lacking. No soft music, just a lot of chatty workers with no regard to the half dozen customers inside. As always, explore your foodie places. Update: 09/4/22. Just had a big order to go. Got everything correct except one. Language barrier. Wanted bok choy with chicken. But rather got bok choy with the chicken noodle soup which already comes with it. Yes, I didn’t get it either, after calling them. So hence, my updated review. Next time get an itemized receipt and check your order before leaving. It just happens to us all the time. Butttttt. The food was very good. Update 9-30-23. Always good food. One of the original area Vietnamese restaurants. Our favorite . We’ve tried others, but usually come back to here. As always, post your favs. So we kind of know what’s good and what’s better.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - #9 of Large Pho with rare steak and tendon and #15 of Bun Bo Hue which is a spicy broth with beef and pork. Decent portion with clear pho soup but it was on the sweeter side. The spicy broth was our first time trying things like that and we enjoyed the flavor but it was quite oily. Service: 3/5 - very quick service and to the point so not friendly. First time so we didn't know you just walk up and tell them the table number to pay. Unfortunately, We couldn't tell if they were talking to us or at other workers some of the times. Ambiance: 3/5 - very compact store with sticky tables and condiments. Value for price: 5/5 - just under $15 per dish after tax which seems reasonable for the area and we enjoyed the food.

We were craving Vietnamese food and decided to try Saigon Restaurant for the 1st time. I ordered over the phone and my questions were all answered was helped to get all of the food and beverages down right the way I wanted. I was given clear instructions on what information to give once the food was ready to be picked up. The food was ready in 15 minutes! Let me say the Taro Boba drinks were ice cold and creamy and not overly sweet which is an A+ for us. The large soup was big enough to feed 4 of us which is a great value for your money spent. The spring rolls were big and made with fresh ingredients refreshing to my stomach will order them again along with their authentic peanut sauce.

I am BEYOND LIVID with the service from this place!!!! If I could I would give them zero stars!! I called in an order of 30 egg rolls for a potluck at work at 3pm and I told them I was going to pick up at 6 pm. When I arrived at 6:15pm they hadn’t started my order and I have to wait for 20 minutes until it was ready. Being as I was now in a hurry to rush to work I didn’t check my order before leaving. When I opened my order an hour later (because I was at work and didn’t have time to open it right away) there were only 15 egg rolls. When I called them the staff was extremely rude and began yelling at me they said that I must have eaten them all and was now asking for more! Who does that??? It was their mistake and now they are accusing me of eating the food and asking for more. I have never felt more disrespected in my life!! They continued to yell at me and then passed the phone to whom I’m assuming is the manager or per who also continued to yell at me .when I said I would be leaving a review he yelled “no” as if I was a child. Needles to say I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. And I would advise anyone to NOT go there either. By the way I paid $38 for...
