Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Modesto

Well you want my opinion your employees that are on Oakdale and Floyd I believe it is I don't know what they were doing but there was 6 of us in the Drive-Thru I had already been there in 10 minutes before the second car drove up show me hang on 2nd why she's doing whatever, then the second car came up and I'm still sitting there and he turns off his motor because he's tired of waiting also so I kept yelling out at the window I'm ready to order anybody there no answer. So after sitting there in 10 minutes in the Drive-Thru and haven't even given my order yet I decided to comp the horn still no answer so I went around to the drive-up window set for another 15-20 minutes waiting for my food to be cooked the other car is behind me and got up and left they were tired of waiting also. So as I was trying to give the girl my order at the window she's going to try to take the order from the car behind me I said no no no I said it's my my food You're supposed to be taking an order for so she takes my order took them 15 minutes to cook up a hamburger fries and my drink everybody else in the ER said they didn't hear no horn honking or no there was anybody at the at the window and she told me to hang on a second should be right with me yet she didn't even know I was there so she hands me my bag of food and thank you for coming all right I get around out of the drive-thru to leave I got to make a U-turn to come back because she didn't bother to give me my drink either I asked her if she was okay because she couldn't even take an order at the window she kept asking me what did you say you wanted?? I repeated over and over and she kept asking me what was it you wanted everybody else bumping into each other, I told him they need to pay attention what people are ordering and getting their food ordered instead of playing around and inside the place as I drove out I had to make a U-turn in the parking lot because the girl at the window couldn't even remember to give me my drink if they'd have been my employees they have all been fired right then and there cuz they weren't doing nothing but paying attention to each other and not even knowing that there was people in the Drive-Thru, they'd already lost six people in the Drive-Thru and then getting ready to lose some more because they're not taking orders sad sad!!! So I think whoever is in managing this place need to sit down and have a big long talk with their employees because they're really not very good and given service. You will never see me or hear that I've been there ever again cuz I will not be going I'll go to McDonalds Jack and the box or Taco Bell or someplace where I can...

They close when they feel like it, not when their sign says. I was in the drive thru one night and no one responded on the two way speaker so I drove up to the window and waited a few minutes until someone came to the window. All lights including the menu sign and open sign were still lit up. There was a female employee that opened the window and said "we're closed" and I said, "it's only 8:17, I entered the drive thru around 8:12pm and it says you don't close until 9:30pm, also your open sign and all lights are still on". She turned around and yelled at another worker to turn off the lights then she turns off the open sign and said that the drive thru is coned off and they are closed". I told her there was no cones. She called me a liar and said that I must have gotten out, moved the cones, got back in my car, drove through and then got back out to put the cones back and then got back in the car. I just have no words. I haven't been back since. The owner is usually there most of the time but doesn't stay till closing so I guess the employees just do whatever they want...

The sign on window states that they close at 9:30p, some internet sources on the internet stay that they close at 10p. I pull up at 9:25p in the drive through for pretzel sticks. Lights are on, and both open signs. No one responds. As I pull up to window, they turn off kitchen lights, but open signs still on. They ignored me for several minutes before addressing me. The “manager” stated they stop selling hot food at 9:15, yet when I pulled up, they had no idea what I would be ordering. He continued to argue with me, as I pointed to the hours sign and the open sign which was still lit. It ended badly and with him stating that he had to go clean up to go home. I told him I would be back in to talk to the owner the next day. Very poor customer service and they close early.
