Disappointed to learn today that an online order could be made an hour before actual scheduled pickup time, not sitting in refrigerated pickup cart. I'd placed my order (888384) at 8:43 am today, for a scheduled 11:00 am pickup. A family member called me around 10:30 am to announce that there was sickness in his household, which we cancelled the gathering. I called Papa Murphy's at 10:34 am to see if I could cancel my order. I was informed that this could not be cancelled, noting my order was placed at 8:43 am. She further confirmed that my order had been completed 10 minutes prior to my call. I accepted the order not being allowed to be cancelled, however, was concerned that my order was sitting unrefrigerated for 40 min before scheduled pickup. When I came into the store at 10:45 am to pickup my order, the order was in the pickup cart. It appeared she was the only staff on duty and was not actively working on any additional orders, so appeared it was slow. She confirmed the pizzas had been sitting for 45 min and again confirmed their policy to allow pizzas to be made one hour from pickup time. She noted that the instructions (which I had not read in the past....) suggest a pizza taken from refrigeration should be left out one hour from baking time. I said I was glad to now know of this policy, however, the receipt doesn't reflect how long the pizza order was sitting for pickup, so a customer could in the end leave a pizza out for a total of 2 hours from baking time. Going forward, I'll avoid ordering online so I have a more accurate time to bake.
Update: In response to store's request to provide further contact info, I'll instead leave my response here, with a recommendation that the store receipt provide the time the pizza was placed in the...
Read moreWhile they make great pizzas, the workers are generally uninterested in helping customers and they are not trustworthy in terms of their posted hours. NUMEROUS times my family has tried to go to get a pizza for dinner only to find their doors closed to business despite the hours posted on google maps AND posted on their doors saying that they should be open. Today my husband went and at 6:45pm they already had the doors locked with employees standing around just shaking their heads at him, despite all other sources of information saying that they are open until 7pm. I understand that companies like to start getting ready to close early to avoid having to pay employees after hours when they are no longer open to business with the opportunity of making money, but I do not understand closing a pizza shop prior to 6:45pm, lying about your hours, and then allowing employees to stand around until it’s officially time to close. It is disappointing that such a delicious place would close themself off to business so frequently during what are still normal...
Read moreFirst off, don't train staff in the middle of $10 Tuesday, unless you are actually trying to scare new hires off. ( and I'm talking 'never been on the prep line, explaining the order of toppings' new.) And when you can't make a standard order right because I asked for regular crust ( not thin). Verified it was on the order. REMINDED HER that they won't do it right unless she tells them and she lols and assures me it's fine... what do I get? Thin crust and dumped to the back of the line for 10 more minutes. So I'll be back to not going here again. I gave up online ordering because this always happens. Not just this location. Pizza's good, but DO NOT DEVIATE FROM...
