When we stopped here to place a carryout order two nights ago, as we were getting ready to check out, we noticed that the team member preparing my fiance and I's food was wearing her mask underneath her nose.
This does nothing to prevent water droplets, the primary means through which Covid-19 travels, from getting on the food with each breath, cough, sneeze, and word spoken. It's essentially the same as not wearing a mask at all. This isn't safe for customers or the other team members. So please ensure that going forward there is a plan to set up guidelines and protocol regarding safe food handling and proper mask use, as well as measures to ensure that management is enforcing them.
We didn't want to risk our family's health, so we had to put the food in the freezer and now we still have to wait three to five more days until it will be safe to eat the food we ordered two days ago. This is our favorite restaurant; we've stopped here dozens of times before and we'll likely still be stopping here dozens more in the future AFTER this pandemic, but it was incredibly disappointing to see the health of our family, as well as every other customer that orders from this location, be put at risk due to the negligence of the team.
I really don't want to seem like one of those customers that complains about every little thing, but this is a pandemic that has infected 20 million people worldwide and has caused 750,000 premature deaths so far. This is not something to be taken lightly by any means. As a business, you have an obligation to keep your customers safe, and based on what I saw, I don't feel safe serving my family food that was prepared at this location, so I will be looking for a new QDOBA location to frequent until this pandemic is over.
I apologize for complaining about something that others may feel is being blown out of proportion, but my family's health is something that's incredibly important to me and I would much rather avoid any unnecessary risk. Please don't take any sort of retaliatory action against this employee, but for the sake of your customers' health, please make sure that team members are fully trained on proper mask usage. Read moreI just left this location. I went through the drive thru at 4:23pm. I ordered a bowl & two chips with queso and a medium coke. Drove away and left without recognizing I didn’t get my coke. Came back at 4:26pm and told the drive thru they forgot my coke. Pulled up to the window and sat for 2 minutes, nobody came to the window. So I went in. The lady working at the front with the headset argued with me for a minute and then went back and printed the receipt from my drive thru order and there in fact was no coke ordered even though I specifically asked for one while my order was being placed. Thankfully my boyfriend was being silly recording the entire order being placed so I know I’m not confused. This was embarrassing to those eating in the restaurant ,honestly the other employees working there and myself. It’s a soda for crying out loud. Anytime I have worked in customer service it was my responsibility to pay attentive attention to our customers and fix any mistakes I may have made and the woman there treated me this way over a soda. Read moreI've gone here many times and may stop because of yesterday. I went with groceries in my car and pickup ordered ahead. This drive thru no one answered at 545pm on Sunday and I called and drove up to the drive thru window nothing. Then went inside to see my pickup on a back counter so I wasn't able to get it. Mind you I wasn't now the only one waiting for there pickup and its not under a heater or anything just getting cold and gross. And when I finally said hey my order is right there behind you I got a oh okay then gave it to me I said the whole drive thru experience he said oh its to busy I said maybe close it cause your just going to upset people. I get understaffed but then close it so people aren't sitting there to wait for there then cold food and sit inside waiting again.
