MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes — Restaurant in Monona

For a place that's been hyped to the gills, this was a terrible experience all around.

First of all, let's establish this was a pick-up order and first time ordering from Mooyah. No preconceived biases at play.

Ordered a double Cheeseburger and French fries. Requested no lettuce, no tomato, no ketchup or mustard. Asked for fried onions, mayo and pickles..

I got a mushed- looking burger that had a tiny bit of half-fried onions, a little schmear of maybe a ½ tsp of mayo and -no- Pickles. The burger was wat beyond well-done; with almost-burnt meat around the circumference of both patties. In addition, there was SO much salt! Inedible.

The fries were also way-overcooked and extremely salty. Inedible.

The lemonade was very watered down.

So, so...

I've always enjoyed Mooyah's food and service from the Fitchburg, Sun Prairie and Monona locations. This week I ordered a Burger Bar for pick up at the Monona location, for my daughter's birthday. It was phenomenal! Lucas made ordering easy and painless. When I picked up, the manager on duty took time to go through the whole order making sure everything was there and answered any questions I had. He offered to help take it out to my vehicle, which was not necessary but much appreciated. Everything was fresh and well packaged. Even though it was a catering order, the quality remained top notch (which isn't always the case). It was a huge hit with my daughter and her friends. It was worth every penny and I will absolutely use Mooyah for catering...

New location, DONT EAT HERE!!! MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES don’t care this is the ONLY restaurant in history that can’t cook fry’s READ THE REVIEWS .it just opened but it needs to be shut down and monona doesn’t even compare to the other locations, food and customer service is horrible. Needs new employees no one cares at this location. My daughter picked this over Red Robin and was excited. And for delivered a dry burger with a bun instead of the lettuce as a bun soggy fries. 2 meats and 1 slice of avocado. $21 McDonald’s take more pride. Do NOT EAT HERE sin praire location might be your best option IT IS SAD THAT the manager or whoever replays to the same issue customer have but...
