I work at a nearby business and i allow myself one delicious-yet-certainly-unhealthy Baconator sandwich per quarter. I've developed a ritual : On my lunch break, I drive to Wendy's, and clearly and distinctly place my order at the drive-thru, specifying that there is to be no sauce on the burger. Plain. Only beef, bacon, and cheese. At the payment window, they recite my order back to me, with the word "plain" clearly listed both in the recitation and on the receipt i'm given. I receive my bag of fried goodness at the second window and pull into the parking lot for the Burger Check.
Only twice in the 8 years I've been enjoying my quarterly Baconator has the burger actually been correct the first time. Most times, it's oozing with ketchup and mayonnaise. once, it was an entirely different burger with no bacon and mounds of vegetation.
The staff is usually very polite and apologetic when i walk into the building with the errant burger and receipt, and they act quickly to correct the mistake and provide me with a pure stack of beefy, bacony, cheesy goodness untainted by condiments.
I leave satisfied by the ultimate delicious threat to my cholesterol levels, but with barely enough time to savor it before I'm due...
Read moreI ordered on the mobile app. My order was 2 meals, the chicken Nacho sandwich meal with an orange Creamsicle frosty and the Big bacon classic meal plus the pull apart Cinnabon dessert. My husband went to pick it up about 20 minutes later and it was not ready, he went to Walmart and then returned an additional 20 minutes later and was given a bag with the big bacon classic, a large fry filled half way and a medium fry plus a sweet tea. My husband let them know half the order was missing and was told by the employee that they don't have the other items available there (they are on the menu) and that they are 45 minutes behind and to just have me contact the company because they don't do refunds. So basically Wendy's stole money from me, isnt that what it would be if you take money but do not provide products or services. $28.06 for a Big bacon classic meal that wasn't worth $11! I do not suggest going to the Shamokin Dam Wendy's. My husband went to BK and was able to get menu items from them and it didn't take them 45 minutes. I will be getting my money back for the items I...
Read moreNot so friendly or efficient staff. They forget an item or two most of the time. I always check to see if they got the order right before I leave the parking lot.
They've also fallen back into the soggy french fries, again. Also whe. I'll order a large meal and get a medium amount of fries in a large box. They almost never have baked potatoes later in the afternoon even though they are open until 11PM. FYI • The sign on th he door says open until 12PM as of today's date : 11-3-2020
I believe the staff needs a class they have to pass in order to be employed. A class about how to treat people, customer service and workplace efficiency.

Wendy's gets four stars ONLY because everything on the menu is delicious! If the staff were nicer, Wendy's would have five stars. Employees are the problem here. Masks may cover their face but it doesn't cover the tone of their voice...
