I normally come here at least twice a week for a regular chocolate malt whipped no cherries or occasionally cherries on the side because my coworker likes them. Its usually right under $6, well come them this past Wednesday and ordered a regular and was told $6.06 so I was like wow did they go up I was just here. She should her head yes, so I gave her $6.11 for the nickle I always give a dollar tip. And then she handed me a small and I was like I ordered a regular and paid for a regular, she said well a regular is 50 cents more and kept saying the price and I stated I had paid more she was getting upset and I asked a question like there cant be that much tax. Well they were charging me for cherries, which ok but let me know you never have before and 5 cherries 50 something cents more no thank you I dont like them. So she was like can you wait a minute when I said how can I owe you more when I paid more then you said? Then she realized she owed me money I said keep it, but I was very disappointed this is my lunch hour and my coworker who was with me said you kept your composure she said she was about to lose it. I work right on Dickerson the dental office so I even walk there, never ever had an issue been coming for last 2 years. Customer service is key never saw this young...
Read moreGood ice cream but we experienced terrible customer service last night. First we went trough the drive thru and could hardly get our server to answer a question, we finally order and pay and she tells us to pull forward. We had ordered a malt and there was a car behind us so we figured they wanted to wait on that car while making our malt. We pulled straight forward in a space and waited for about 10 minutes. When there was no sign they were coming out, we went up to the counter and knocked on the window and asked what was going on. At that time, the server who took our order looked over her shoulder, pointed at the malt sitting on the counter (inside the store) and said ‘you left’ then went back to cleaning whatever it was she was cleaning. Even then, not offering to hand us the malt. At some point a manager/supervisor/older than our server person came up and explained that there must have been some misunderstanding, that ‘we have a lot of 14 and 15 years working here’ and ‘no one back there was upset’. Well great for them. They didn’t just pay for a product they didn’t receive and waste 20 minutes of their lives. Long story short we got our money back and left. Another poor customer service experience in a world where it feels like your patronage is no...
Read morei love bruster's. it's my family tradition that we get ice cream cakes from here for our birthdays. however, idk if i'll be back because every time i come pick out a cake, i leave disappointed.
the cake is SO good, but the service is AWFUL. when i come, i always pick out one of their premade cakes in the freezer, which you'd think would make the service easier, but it's actually where it goes sour.
i understand that writing on a cake can be hard for someone inexperienced; but i also feel like if you're going to offer writing, at least make it look somewhat good? or maybe hire someone who can write on cakes? THEY asked me if i wanted something written, but perhaps i was the fool to say yes.
today, i waited almost 20 minutes to get less-than-mediocre writing that's not even centered. a whole family that stood there looking at the menu for what seemed like hours, tried multiple flavors of ice cream, and had screaming kids got their orders before someone could write "happy birthday" on a cake. this instance today isn't even the worse, i've had worse writing from this location where i waited over 45 minutes for.
i'm pretty sure i could've done...
