KB’s Coffee — Restaurant in Monroe

KB’s has excellent coffee and espresso-based drinks as well as assorted pastries and muffins. I’d you’re willing to try something new, ask for Puppy Love with vanilla cold foam. It’s amazing!

The atmosphere is friendly and the space is cozy, with several separate spaces to relax and chat, and a couple of tables if you need to get some work done.

The owner is friendly and an excellent barista with a large variety of available flavor combinations, including an impressive number of sugar free options. If you like iced coffee, be sure to ask for coffee cubes instead of regular ice. I love them.

I love trying new privately owned cafés, but this one just was not the same. Customer service was … blah at best. Not rude but no conversation no sense of excitement or enjoyment. The coffee unfortunately tasted like gas station coffee. I saw the guy pull espresso shots, so I was very surprised at the gas station taste. Unfortunately don’t think I will be trying this place again. Definitely needs to engage with customers more to keep the business going long term. This little coffee shop has a drive thru as well, which is awesome! I went in this time. Lots of spaces for parking as it is on the end of a strip mall. What a great atmosphere! There are places for group chats and a place in the back of you need more quiet. Their coffee menu is very fun. I did not have food so i can't comment on that. I had one of their fun coffees. It was enjoyable. I will definitely return to this coffee shop. It can be confusing about the name. KB's is on the door, but the sign on the building says Hazel's....
