I came into Monroe, NC Red Bowlto order Spicy Thai Green Curry Shrimp, but I couldn’t recall if it was the Spicy Thai Red Curry Shimp or the Spicy Thai Green Curry Shrimp. The host didn’t help me figure out which one it could been, so she knew I had issue with deciding which one I had order in the past. However, I order the (takeout) wrong dish, purchased an AParlmer tea, left a $1 tip. I waited roughly 15 minutes, and got my order. I checked to see if I had chop sticks because last time they didn’t put chop sticks in my bag. I walked to my car, and look in my bag and as I expected it... I order the wrong dish, so I wasn’t even out the store for 3 minutes and I spoke to the same host and told her I order the wrong dish and I would like to order the right one because that is what Customer Service is pleasing your Customers even if they are at fault; which I was. She brought the manager, and the Manager told me that she could put Green Sauce on my Spicy Thai Red Curry Shrimp. I said, “No.” I am not fund of the bell pepper.” I asked if I could get what I intended to order and pay the difference. She said, “No.” The host said, “It is already made and we would have to trash it.” I said, “Well, I’m going to trash it too because I am not eating it.” I said, “I will just take my refund and pay for my tea.” The Manager said, “No refund.” I have never heard a manager say, “No refund in my life.” Lol So, I was totally caught off guard.” She grab my order in a upset manner and said she would make the switch. Long story short, another lady ended up taking my order because the waitress said the wrong order. She gave it to me, and I said thank you and walked out. I get to my car and looked in the bag, sauce spilled all in my bag and I decided to take a bite the carrots, mushrooms and green peas weren’t event cooked all of the way.” $17 I spent and still wasn’t satisfied. Customer Service is gong down hill across the US, and it a shame. I learned which order is correct, but please doing something with your customer service. Read moreMy family and I usually have no issues with the Ref Bowl in Monroe, but last Friday was an exception. The food was fine, and we all gave our cards to pay for our meals individually. Upon returning back to our table, the waitress gave us our receipts. When she handed my daughter hers, my daughter noticed that she was charged $25.03 for her meal when she ordered off the $6.00 menu. The waitress tried to explain that the manager made the mistake , and I went up front to ask him, and he said that the waitress charged my daughter incorrectly and that he voided it out and then charged her $6.41 for her meal. Therefore, my daughter was charged both the $25.03 and the $6.41 on that day. That is because the payment for the $25.03 was placed, and my daughter would have to wait several days to get the $25.03 back. This was their mistake, and they should have asked my daughter what she wanted to do. Instead of charging her twice in one day; the manger could have given her the money charged incorrectly to her back in cash or asked us if she wanted her card to be charged again. He was non-caring stating that this has happened before to people for larger amounts. Well this means that either he or his waitresses need to pay more attention to what they are doing. My daughter is a college student and the extra money taken out her account may not mean much to any of them, but it means a lot to her. Read moreWell I walked in and I see a slightly older young lady at the register. Im looking at her she looking at me Im looking at her. She then looks over her glasses like my teachers used to do when I was in the 6th grade, so I did the same to her without glasses, she says may I help you? I said absolutely. I will take the shrimp and chicken habatchi, she said add chicken? I said yup to go please. It was a korean lady there doing something and overheard me saying 2 go, she was like no the hell you will not be taking no food up out of here and proceeded to head to the back. The manager or some man came up front with like a walkie-talkie or something looking like what the problem is. Apparently 2 go orders are a no no for this establishment. Cool just make it for here then.(it was a little dramatic). Ms Teacher lady goes to the back for my food expeditiously and I appreciated that.
