The Fairfield Inn Charlotte -Monroe was an awesome experiene for me. From Tracy the Front Desk Associate to the Gina the GM and everyone in between that I had the opportunity to meet were all cordially inviting. The front lobby was very welcoming and cozy to say the least. I was informed of nearby restaurants and stores in case I needed anything as well as a follow up to make sure that my stay met my expectations. Although I did not get the opportunity to use the gym as I thought I would it was a place that I would not mind doing a workout. The breakfast although it was not what I was accustomed to having at a Marriott Hotel was very pleasing under the circumstances of COVID. My room was very clean, comfortable and did exactly what it was to do give me a good nights rest. I loved the bathroom as it was large enough to me to do everything I needed to do without going in and out of it into the bedroom.......Speaking of the bathroom the shower essentials that are now being used was everything to me, if there was a person who had a long day or bad night and needed to be reinvigorated, this would be the potion that one would need. I hope that you guys start selling this on the market. All and all this overnight stay was a HUGE 10 on my list of hotels and I will definitely share with others who travel that way. ||||I must say that even though the hotel is new you can tell that the staff take pride in what they do. I spotted the sales manager and GM helping housekeeping do things around the facility which tells me that management would do the same thing that the other staff would do and that they don't find it benith them to do||||Thank you Fairfield Inn and Suites Charlotte-Monroe for a...
Read moreEven though the hotel is nice and everything people friendly but can't stay in a place that's got bugs at all. I even took pictures of the rooms that I was in cuz I had to be moved one room to another I have all sorts of pictures where bugs and infestation was in the hotel and they basically came out and told me that there's some of the pictures I had was not even of their hotel rooms and yes it was their hotel room cuz it is the first hotel I stayed in Union county and basically you might as well say I am a liar but I will put it to you this way there's bugs and events bugs in the bathroom bugs in the shower bugs in their towels and washcloths bugs in the carpet against the wall and this is a person that don't drink don't do drugs and I'm not hallucinating either. So y'all can say what you want but I'm a very clean person and for the staff and management trying to cover up the infestation I and my family and friends will never stay in your location ever again. Y'all need a exterminator every week instead of once a month. But whatever floats y'all's boats booking rooms and letting people stay there and them leave with the bugs in their stuff to go home and infestation their home...

We were given a handicap room even though we are not handicap and did not request it. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything all around your room. We had 2 young Kids above us that just wouldn’t stop running and jumping. Being woke up super early by running and jumping constantly for almost 2hrs makes it for an annoying stay. Then hearing the chattering from the fire pit and pool. We also had the neighbors partying with music and chatting after 11:30pm and could hear everything. The elevator was right across from the hotel room and you hear every conversation from people getting off. The water pressure is not strong in the shower or sink. They don’t do a hot breakfast like other hotels during this time.
The plus sides were that the room was big newer and up to date. There were two large smart TVs (one in front of the beds and one in front of a sofa), and the AC worked well. The location is nearby plenty of food and shopping. The staff was polite...
