Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Monroe

Just yesterday my great grandfather, his son, and his grandson and his grandson were all trying to enjoy a nice Oreo blizzard from Dairy Queen. This was all shut down when my grandson attempted to order an Oreo blizzard and feared cross contamination. How is there cross contamination when all you need for an Oreo blizzard are pieces of a cookie and vanilla ice cream?? When my grandson, his father and his grandfather all called Dairy Queen the lady was rude and assumed all of us were the same people. And when all of us asked about the cross contamination, she gave the same rude response to use each and every time, making it look like she does not even want to work at Dairy Queen. After our whole family tried to reach out regarding our concerns about cross contamination the Dairy Queen worker threatened to call the police thinking that our grandson’s nut allergy was a joke. The ice cream is delicious, and the staff is friendly, but they got my order wrong twice. Both times, I ordered a chocolate brownie extreme blizzard. The first time, they gave me brownie batter, and the second time, they gave me some sort of salted caramel flavor. I usually do takeout, so they put a lid on it, and I didn't notice the mistake until I got home. I thought the first mix-up was just a silly mistake, so I didn't check the order the second time. Emma at the Monroe CT location has a very poor attitude tonight. Ordered a banana split blizzard, to go. Got to the car, open the bag, the ice cream is dripping all down the sides because the cup was overfilled and Emma just shoved the to go top on anyway. I removed the top, getting sticky ice cream all over my hands and dripping down my arm. It was a horrible mess. Went back inside and Emma refused to make another one because she didn't see anything wrong with what she did. Do not recommend the rude service...
