Stop & Shop — Local services in Monroe

This location used to be great, I don't really understand what happened. Lately I have been having more and more problems with the staff specifically there is an elderly woman who work self check out who is incredibly mean. That in itself has affected how my often I shop there. If she is in the store I don't go in.

Secondly, the last 2 times that I have gone in there I was overwhelmed by the stench of rotting meat. It was so disgusting, I do not think I will ever shop for meat at this store again.

I could smell it from the front of the store at customer service where I made a complaint.

I do not understand how a grocery store can run with such a stench and none of the staff does anything about it. As I was leaving, I heard other customers complaining as well. So much deadly food borne is illness going around, you would think that the staff would pay a bit more attention to...

I have spent thousands in this store the past couple of years and everything is getting worse. You take more of our money but nothing improves. I bought raw chicken teneders from here and they fall apart in your hand like if it wasn't made out of real meat. The butcher shop never has any meat on sale since the pandemic but the store makes more money than god. I hate coming her I won't return I'll go toBig y up the streets dont buy meat here it's all fake and is pumped with red dye to make it look more fresh. The Wi-Fi never works. Even when you sign onto the guest account. So you can’t pull up your Stop & Shop card. Very, very frequently, you put in your phone number so that you can use your card and the system can’t find you. They offer to use a store account number so you can get a discount, but then you can’t accumulate points to your account. I think they do this purposely.to avoid giving advertised discounts and benefits. This is a very frequent thing, and very often I hear other customers complaining about it in line.
