Firehouse Subs Monroe — Restaurant in Monroe

I ordered several subs from here yesterday and they were absolutely delicious. I did order online and it was my fault that I took the food home and then looked at it because where I had requested no mayonnaise on one of the footlong subs there was mayonnaise all over it. He said that I ordered extra cheese on had absolutely no cheese on it so I guess somebody just got it backwards. So one sandwich didn't get eaten so that was a waste of money because it was covered in mayonnaise but we ate the one that didn't have the cheese on it and it was still actually really good. There about a 30-minute drive from us and we try to eat here at least once a week. I absolutely love the deli mustard that they put on the sandwiches and the pickle. So if you haven't eaten here I strongly recommend that you do because the food is absolutely delicious within the bread is nice and soft. If you order something spicy believe me is absolutely going to be spicy so you will not be missing out on anything. If I could make it up here to eat two or three times a week I absolutely would. This is THE WORST Firehouse Subs I have ever went to. The entire staff needs to either be fired or re-trained!! They clearly do not know the meaning of customer service!! Not only are they rude but they talk over your food the entire time! The one staff member named Melissa is the rudest I have ever encountered in my life from someone on the other side of customer service. The manager Dorian has no control and is an awful leader if you ask me. We are all entitled to a bad day but when it relates to customer service, maybe that is the day to call in sick!

This Firehouse (Monroe) has a 94.5 rating and the one in (Indian Trail) has a 100 rating! And believe me there is a HUGE difference in the customer service!!! Go to Indian Trail if you are looking for the total Firehouse experience. I will NEVER go to this one again. Young associate Fred was very polite and although we arrived late, we wanted tea and he was getting ready to dump the urns but still offered us the tea and then waited for us to be finished before he emptied the containers. The other associate seems aggravated we were there. They still had 30 minutes so wasn’t like it was 5 minutes before closing.Fred was so kind and did not make us feel rushed at all. He could have been aggravated with it being close to closing time but he just went about doing his other tasks until we were finished.
