This was our second time to this restaurant. My wife and I love Italian food. If you do too, don't go here. We were not impressed with the first visit and would not have gone again but, we went this time with some friends invited us and said the mussels were wonderful. Strike one: Two people in our party ordered a martini with olives. Guess what? They don't have whole olives. They tossed some SLICED OLIVES in a martini glass. I should have taken pictures. Strike two: They started the meal with a round loaf of bread they slice half-way through, spread garlic margarine paste in the cut and throw it in the oven to heat the outside for a couple of minutes. Not enough time to even melt the margarine paste on the inside of the loaf. Gross. Survey of our party at the end of the meal revealed: Salads were OK (how can you screw up salad?) the bleu cheese dressing was bland and watered down. Strike three: Salmon was over cooked and dried out (two down votes). Strike four: The marinara sauce was WAYYYYY to salty. (four down votes) The person in our party convinced us to go here because he said the mussels appetizers were wonderful (we ordered three orders in our party). He said tonight they were terrible and he would not come here again. They served us one of the mussels that didn't even open!!! Strike five: Eggplant Parmigiana was burned when they deep fried it and was served with NO CHEESE, no cheese at all. SO you were served burnt eggplant with salty sauce on it. You can get mozzarella (not parmagiana) melted on top if you request it. (two down votes). We were all disappointed. When I got home and read the reviews and sanitary rating of only 94 points (Yikes!), the bad reviews and the attitude of the management/owner responding to bad reviews blaming the patrons and repeatedly touting the fact that they have been in business for over twenty-five years to justify his poor performance in the kitchen and in the dining room is a sign nothing will change. Save your time and money and go to Olive Garden for better food. It still won't be Italian but it will be better than here. In total honesty, one of our party said he would go back again for the Philly Cheese...

Read moreAbsolutely do not make the mistake of going to this pathetic excuse of a restaurant.
For the record - I’ve given this place no less than 5 chances, ordering something completely different each time in a desperate attempt to find a single redeeming quality before writing this review.
Their interior aesthetic looks like a run-down Red Lobster. The Chef Boyardee and Campbell’s soup they’re peddling matches the term “Italian Restaurant” about as much as the interior does.
Their bread? Hard and soft in all the wrong places. Their salad? If I scraped the lettuce off a poorly-assembled Big Mac I would’ve had a better time. Their “olive oil”? Tasteless. Literally no aroma. Their wine? It came in the same little plastic bottles you get on an airplane. Their pasta sauce? Uniquely unimpressive. Their subs? I’m literally offended. Their soup? If it isn’t Campbell’s (or something even cheaper than Campbell’s) I will eat my hat. Their service? Untrained and uninterested.
To the owner… do you really want to make this right? If so, do me a massive favor and go eat at an Olive Garden just to get an idea of what the absolute MINIMUM standard of an Italian restaurant is.
To any “loyal local customers” the owner claims to have: I highly recommend you check out this place I’m talking about called Olive Garden. If you aren’t ready for that, you could buy some Ragu sauce and $2 worth of pasta from Food Lion. Your mind will be BLOWN. When you’re ready, we’ll have a chat about Little...
