Icing Bakehouse — Restaurant in Monroe

Briana took my order over the phone and incredibly late in the afternoon. I had an emergency where I needed a birthday cake for my best friend that lives there in Michigan. I live in Texas so it's been a feat trying to find a bakery that would be willing to take my order so last minute. Lewis bakeries in that area are closed down already at this time. I literally just got off the phone with her about 20 minutes ago. It's 3:53 p.m. my time, so it's 4:53 p.m. there. She explained to me that they are a ready-made cake to go service. They have three layer cakes and two layer cakes and I'm sure they can give you all kinds of layers! Lol either way, this company is so graceful and so humble and I can't begin to express how grateful I am for their help!! Thank you for your kindness and for your patience with me!! -Casi...

Had really high hopes for this place the first time we went, there were children playing in front of an behind the counter where treats were being made also the staff was not wearing gloves there was more icing than cupcake I personally appreciate a nice even cake to icing ratio. The cookies were great, the cream cheese topping on the cinnamon roll was a little too sweet but the roll it self was made pretty well.

Fast forward to my recent visit the upon my arrival the owner was doing decorations on the outside of the window I spoke several times and was not responded to, upon entry again I noticed the staff not wearing gloves bees inside the cupcake holder and when the owner walked in other customer spoke to her and she responded and I again I spoke and only then did we receive a greeting.

Incredible and delicious bakery items. The carrot cake was so dense and spiced perfectly and fresh, I could eat a half dozen of the oreo brownies, the red velvet cupcake was a favorite for me. Everything was moist and not too sugary sweet, just perfect and quality made.

The peanut butter cupcake was also amazing and the standout were the cinnamon rolls for me, though everything was excellent. I was treated so kindly and all my questions were answered without any hesitation. Oh they have Boba too. It was so yum and I will be back...
