I ordered three items. One item was a short stack of pancakes, an order of chocolate chocolate chip pancakes, and an order of cupcake pancakes when I receive the order through DoorDash which is another issue the pancakes were well below what a standard fluffy pancake should look like and the whip cream and condiments were melted all over the inside of the bag. When I called and spoke to the manager Melanie, she was very defensive even though I tried to explain to her that this had been an issue numerous times with my orders through this particular IHOP and I really just wanted to let her know how inconsistent and how terrible the product that they were sending to me was. Next as I try to explain, she continue to argue saying it wasn’t IHOPs problem, and before I could just let her know that I really wanted nothing but to let them know that they needed to have a better representation of their company and their product. She told me a call somebody else, and when I said, apparently, they didn’t care she said have a nice day and hung up on me never really offered any type of solution or satisfaction as far as apologies, but instead hung up. This is probably at least the third or fourth time I’ve ordered food from IHOP in Monroe and it has been absolutely terrible!!!! Always missing items and pancakes supposed to be fluffy flat and tiny by size and portion. Apparently their standard at IHOP is 5 1/4 inches or something but I took pictures there’s nothing standard about any of these. Read moreI have been to this IHOP a few times, usually as a treat for my kids. This last time was not a pleasant experience at all. We were seated in a timely matter, server was very nice, and received our drinks in a timely matter. After waiting 45min to 1 hr for our food the server profusely apologized bc she forgot to hit the “send” button on the computer when ordering our meal. Told me the manager was aware and that a rush order was put in. Another 20min most of the meal comes to the table, but half of mine is missing. Another 10min goes by and once again the server apologized bc the wrong pancakes were made so the new ones were being made. When those ones came I got 2 of what was supposed to be 3 and she hurried off. At that point my kids had had enough and were ready to move onto the next errands since the next store was going to close in 25min. I took the bill up to the register, where the server quickly took the bill, told the manager that I was the customer that had to wait and wait more for the correct food to come. I did mention that I still had not gotten everything the meal stated it came with. The manager’s comment was “these things happen, it’s just a bad day for her.” And I was still charged the full price of everyone’s meal, including the one that was missing an item from. I do understand things happen, I’ve worked full time for many years... but not only do I own up to my mistakes, I also try to make them right. Read moreStaff as short handed as they where, was happy too serve us, wit out any warning ; 17 of us filled their store, & was seated rather quickly! We each individual was responsible to pay our own way, except for our supervisors(staff) of our vacation from Cedar Point. After we ordered drinks, we each placed an order for food; service was prompt. I HOP served us with perfection, not one mistake. After we where done eating we all organized paying our bill, & being one of the wealthier members i tipped extra do to how poor some of thee other members are: too be more fare unto the hard workers they where. I let I HOP know what i done and they thanked me with a smile, & i went out to smoke a Cigarette waiting on evry body too come out so we could go home. Our wait time to be seated was without delay; for drinks was slightly slower than expected but food was right on the money. I vow one day I'm going to save up sum money and go back and tip $100 bill for what we lacked as a group... There's always next year of course , i hardly ever miss a chance to go to Cedar Point and I HOP for my Vacation from work and home, once a year in August. And last year when we went to I HOP they just sent home 5 Waitresses before hand.
