Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Monroe

I am a long time customer at the Moes in Monroe, GA as my kids love Moes! After today’s experience I am not sure if I will be returning! Mrs. Barbara, your general manager at this location had the worst attitude I have ever experienced! Not to mention all while my kids were standing right next to me! My order was 3 kids Tacos and 2 burritos! I asked why my burrito was 8.59$ because your menu states 6.89$! She explained that pork cost a little more. The menu says pork is .70¢ more. Which in turn would mean that my burrito would be 7.59$ not 8.59$. So she began to try to discount it a dollar while saying well if I discount your burrito it takes away you free kids meal. I then said to her that she needed to fix it somehow because it’s not my fault they have the prices wrong. She then threw her hands up in front of my kids and said you know what just take the food and leave. Seems to me she was having a bad day. But that is none of my or my kids problem. I then stated no I want to pay for my food and she said no I just want you to take it and leave! Again, I can’t stress it enough that my kids were standing right next to me. I asked her for information to who was over her and she stated she had no boss right now and refused to give me any information. She pushed my bags towards me and I stated to her she had a horrible attitude and her response was “I give what I get!” I have been in customer service all of my life! This is not the way you talk to a customer! I do not know what her problem was but what I will say is that I absolutely do not appreciate how she treated me and spoke to me in front of my kids! I will be making further contact with corporate as well I will be finding out who the owner is! Truly this was a very disgusting experience for my kids and I and honestly I am not...

I don't even want to give 1 star. I went into this moes , I usually go to moes in covington but didn't feel like making an extra trip today (won't be making that mistake again), first off I walk into the restaurant . There is no one up front , so I wait patiently, I was able to have a conversation for 3 minutes with someone before someone even came up front. He hardly talked just smiled. Then he asks me what I want. I say my order. He throws rice (half a scoop) I ask for more and he says it will cost more, umm what moes puts a dainty bit of rice?? As much as y'all charge for stuff I'm sure a full scoop of rice won't break the bank. So I said whatever. I got black beans.... He didn't wait for the beans to drain he just tossed it on my burrito . I asked if I could have a new one cause it's soggy and by time I get home it's not going to be good. He said I would have to buy both burritos. At this point I'm ready to walk out. He puts the rest of my toppings on and rolls my burrito, half my steak goes flying I asked if he could put more meat in it... guess what. It costs extra. I just laughed and said whatever. He didn't give me chips at first, I had to ask for them, he rings me up wrong at first had to correct him. I get home, burrito falls apart on my floor so thank you for feeding my dogs, my chips are stale and salty and so Its best to say I won't be going back there. Never had such horrible service. My second and last time coming to this establishment. First let me say I don’t understand why open up or take over an establishment that serves majority of English speaking people(and I’m trying to keep this as respectful as I can) and you don’t or can’t speak English?! I entered into the building the guy was sitting on the back counter on his phone. I wanted to walk right back out but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since I knew they were new owners and seemed to not get much business. I proceeded to order a bowl, Im asking bout the different rices( I couldn’t quite understand what the guy was saying), I asked for the corn topping but what they had was old so I wanted some fresh, he said they couldn’t fix any I asked why not and that I’ll wait for it, the father or who ever came out with a big container full and proceeded to put some on the grill (I took it as the young guy really didn’t want to serve me at this time) then I told him I wanted the other topping jalapeños, olives etc. I wanted black beans which looked to have been sitting for a while. He didn’t try stirring them or anything just scooped and slung them on top. So I just wanted to go at this point. Me thinking you can get queso poured on top as part of your topping but to my surprise they told me no. I’m like why have it with the topping if it’s not included. So I ended up paying $18 for a bowl. I’m not sure if this was a black thing or a we need money so let give her less and charge her more thing or what.
