Good food, but use a coupon or pay too much. Great spicy chicken and tenders.
Update 3/31. Did the spicy become less spicy than normal? I got some hint of flavor, but nothing approaching spicy!
Waiting in line for chicken for 40 minutes is CRAZY! I won't do it a second time. 20 minutes to get to the window. Was told it would be 9 minutes to get spicy chicken. Ended up 20 minutes. At least it was hot! Lol and almost surprisingly, it was the spicy chicken I ordered unlike last time when I got home with mild chicken. Will be trying KFC next time I want chicken. Employees are just not nice. They never smile. They just bark at the customers. They need to take a lesson from chic fillet. At least the food was good. Once again, the service here proves to be HORRIBLE! I could have (and will next time) driven across the river to Chick-fil-A faster. We went inside as a car gave up in front uf us and drove off. That should have been my sign. We went inside and there was only one lady in front of us who had started placing her order. There were 3 waiting on their orders. It was 3:00 on Sunday. Not prime time. After we had been standing there about 5 minutes, a manager , another someone with special name tag and 2 "regular" employees all came out from the back. None seemed to help the 3 already up there. They were having to get the ticket from customers who had already ordered to see what they needed to put in bags for them. They didn't seem to know how to work the screen with orders. They were THE MOST unorganized bunch I have ever seen working fast food. The manager was on her cell phone and walked out to her car in the middle of all this. She came back and started emptying cash from the cash register and I assume putting bills in a safe right in front of the counter 1 Bill at a time. That took several minutes. She was on her phone still. She put in an earpiece. One for her phone, not work. Now, after at least 10 minutes, the lady in front of us was allowed to finish giving them her order. Then.....in what I can only say is the most unorganized mess ever, the guy that finally took her order starts grabbing sides for her bag and then chicken. I assumed it was going to be a long order with lots of items. Nope. Not even one of their large bags. He got it to her and they started on our order. In the mean time, a lady that had walked in a few minutes after us gave up, left and drive off. She was smarter than I was. After he took my order, he goes to the sandwich making station and starts smearing sauce on a bun. Most of the others are just doing nothing or are on their cell phones. Nobody is in a hurry. Finally someone else came to the register to take our second order. We actually got our two orders with only about a 4-5 minute wait after the order was placed. Not horrible. I will just drive across the river to Chick-fil-A next time. The extra 20 minutes, without any aggravation from staff will likely be a dead wash in time and much better for my health. Managers here need to all be fired. Most of the staff too. Owners should be ashamed. It's a good thing that Sandwich is so good. Oh yeah, and the Cajun rice has only been back for a year. There is not one mention of it inside at all. It's not on the main menu board or any of the aux boards. Popeye's....try harder. Which is to say care even...
Read moreThe people that we could bear was a young man and young woman. We didn't get their names. These two individuals were talking on the intercom at the same time and I were very confusing they said that it would take 12 minutes before we got the 16 piece chicken meal. It it sounded like they were playing on the phone or in the in the in the place so they I didn't get out all the first we gave it to him but then it came back and asked us again and we gave it to them again and they said it's going to take 12 minutes again but when we pulled up to the window we had been sitting out there about 5 minutes and then we pull up to the window they still hadn't dropped the chicken. They young lady and the young man was still talking to each other and not paying attention to us, and when I got their attention, she turned and ask the young man how long, he still hadn't dropped the chicken, she said that it would take 12 minutes. We had already been waiting at least 20 minutes. We paid for it ,and the young lady that was giving a change back she was still talking to the young man or the guy while they were talking to us they were on the intercom talking to each other and as she reaches out her hand , she wasn't looking at me and the money dropped on the ground and I got the receipt and then I told her ma'am you didn't give me the change she replied yes i did but you drop and she nevr gave us therest of our change and we waited 30 minutes before we got our meal.they were constantly talking and playing and we're not paying any attention. Today March 13th 2019 from 1 pm 1:50 PM WAS the worst service that I have ever received at Popeyes ,this is the 165 north Popeyes. I will give it...
Read moreIt's official there is not a Popeyes in Monroe that I can go to simply because of the service. I love the food it's just such a terrible experience every time I go. The people are rude they argue with the customers over stuff like what condiments they ordered, not to mention now they want to charge extra for sauces. When I order BBQ and ketchup then get ranch, park go inside then they try to charge me for the right sauces this is where I draw the line. No more will I stand for rude service workers that are giving bad attitude problems and unable to do simple things that a child could do then I think they should rethink their actions. This is happening in more places in more ways. Customer service is what brings in business and when you act like you don't want me to be there then guess what I will go elsewhere. To the employees I say this, if you don't want to do your job the right way then go home because soon people like you will cause that location to close and destroy the lives of people that need theses jobs. So there are things called manners and empathy you need to learn them and stop acting like your entitled to be there. If you make a mistake apologize for your errors and correct them with kindness and respect. You must "wow" the customer and that's what will bring them back and NEVER argue over something as small as what sauces they want because that will follow you and your coworkers after the site...
