I wrote a review at the request of Habit Burger to go to them. But they limited the characters so I couldn't say what I wanted to. I guess I'll just say it here.
----Pasted Text---- We ordered online. That was out first issue. The website is very cumbersome, especially if you want to customize. Maybe that's the point, though? There were selections that had NO EXPLANATION like what temperature is a burger cooked at if not well done? Medium? Rare? Nor what crispy or light fries means? I know what it means to ME but not to Habit Burger employees.
Once the order was done we immediately headed to the restaurant. Food prep was 9 minutes, our travel time was 10. It was perfect. Until we encountered traffic, which made our travel time 15.
Then we got to the drive thru. The car before us was waiting on something ... Honestly it looked like it was just a spoon. We waited for at least 3 minutes, maybe more. Not a problem as we get it, drive thru can get busy.
The next issue came when we went to get the order. We were presented with a price for our order. Mentioned to the employee at the window that we did a mobile order and it was paid. She went to get it off the counter where it was not being warmed. Wouldn't have been an issue if we didn't have traffic issues or the delay in the line but by the time we got the food it was already warm at best. WHY doesn't it stay under a warmer? So when we got the home, everything was luke warm. Limp, barely warm fries, cold onion rings, burnt edge cold burgers. The best item for me was the chicken bites. They stayed warmest, had good flavor, and were moist.
While we didn't do a lot of customizing, what we asked for was mostly completed. Except we paid for extra sauce we didn't get. I'm annoyed that sauce is "extra" but I get it. But to pay for it and not receive it is super annoying!
---end---
I know this sounds like we're being super picky but I was trying to be specific for the company. But how specific do they REALLY want if they limit the characters? I guess the illusion of customer support is better than...
Read moreI’ve been eating at The Habit for over 25 years since I lived in California. Used to drive from Indian Trail down to Charlotte when they had the branch downtown before they closed. Was so excited that they came to Monroe. Been eating there at least two or three times a week since they’ve opened. Unfortunately out of the dozens of times I have been there so far they get the order correct about 50% of the time. Today was the worst by far. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and it’s the second time that the person at the counter asked what kind of dressing I wanted. I said it’s a chicken Caesar salad. Of course it came out as a mixed salad with chicken and Caesar dressing on the side. Second time it happened. Also ordered a char burger without grilled onions and no mayo. First one came out with grilled onions when I sent that back the second one came out slathered in mayo. Had to send it back again. When they finally got the correct salad the third try the chicken breast with ice cold and the lettuce was unwashed with grit in it. I ate the char and the chicken breast and left the salad. Didn’t send it back again because I was starving. When I told the manager with all the tattoos that it was wrong again, she gave me the classic eye roll and was visibly annoyed and bothered. Probably shouldn’t be working restaurant customer service with that awful attitude. Other manager with the glasses has always been very nice, friendly and his tried to get it right. Finally did after the third time. Really unfortunate that they just can’t get it together. I keep going back regardless, because I’ve always loved the food but I don’t know how much brand loyalty I have left...
Read moreMy wife and I went to try to out the new Habit Burger Grill in Monroe, my wife is one to try new things but I am not. I was very skeptical as I do not prefer to eat burgers but nonetheless I went so that my wife could try it. We arrived with a little bit of a line in the drive-thru but after about 6 minutes we were ordering our food. They have 2 menus in the drive-thru, the first one you come to has pictures of almost everything they offer and the second just describes the food and that is also where you're greeted with a very enthusiastic person to receive your order. My wife ordered the Original Charbuger(#1) and I ordered the Santa Barbara Char, we weren't hungry enough to get a full meal each so we also ordered a side of fries to split which brought our bill to $18.76. Our total wait time from when we arrived, to getting our food, was a little less than 13 minutes. Is the food a little pricey? Yes it is, but I totally believe it was worth it. The food was absolutely delicious and I would recommend the Habit Burger Grill to anyone. My wife and I plan on coming back many more times in the future to enjoy their...
