This place is one of my favorites.
I don't get here as much as I'd like, but that makes the trip and the burger a little extra special.
Erin had the chicken gyro with fries and she said it was really good. Sloppy, but good. Nothing wrong with sloppy.
I had my favorite; a double cheese deluxe and it did not disappoint. Hot, juicy, cheesy, and with just the right amount of mayo, mustard, tomato, onion and lettuce. I don't really like lettuce on my burger, but they did it the right way with the lettuce on top of everything else, and not directly on top of the meat.
I also had some fries with a few waffle fries mixed in. The fries are always hot, crispy outside, and soft on the inside.
I had a chili dog because I had to try one. Everybody says Vince's has the best chili dogs, but it was a miss for me. I really didn't like it much. Oh well, now I know. Sorry, Vince.
Service is always great, quick, and friendly. With me, that's a huge selling feature. Thanks again, Vince, for some delicious grindage.
Vince's W. Elm Drive In, you're still in my top 5 favorite burger drive...
Read moreTonight was the 3rd time we've tried dining here. The first time we checked Google - I don't have FaceBook - and showed they should be open. We drove 35 minutes only to find they were closed.
Second time was a success- food was delicious and waitress was super sweet.
Third time, once again Google said they closed at 7:30. We pulled in at 6:57 and were told by a very rude girl 'sorry, we're closed'. The rudeness was from the fact that twice I tried to talk and all she did was loudly repeat - "sorry we closed at 7". I would NEVER pull into a restaurant or most any business 3 minutes before they close and expect to be served and wouldn't have done it tonight but it wasn't even 7 yet. We were misled by Google twice. I have a business and my hours have been incorrectly edited by people several times.
To the owner : I was merely trying to tell your server that Google said they were open until 7:30. She let me get maybe 3 words out before she announced ' sorry, we closed at 7' . You may want to consider editing your...

This legit OG 1955 roadside drive-in is one of a kind and a must visit if you're driving by. Or take a cruise down Telegraph and enjoy the ride through the country side just outside Monroe.
Besides the best root beer I've found on the planet, they're serving up some delicious homemade burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. It's an authentic nostalgic experience with great food. What's not to love!
You pull up and the friendly service comes to your car. They have a nice outdoor patio to sit and enjoy when it is warmer out. The food is very fast!
Seriously don't miss out on the root beer, or better yet get a float!
The fries remind me of 5 guys, thinker soft middle fries that seem homemade and likely soaked overnight. They're great!
It's been a day and I'm still thinking about the bacon cheese burger, BLT, Chicken sandwich and root beer! Don't pass...
