2 stars because the food was good and the service was pretty fast considering the drive thru line was out to the main road.
3 docked stars because when I went inside to pick up my order I placed online, I started by feeling comfortable because there were signs posted all over the place stating that masks were REQUIRED. While waiting for the food looking into the kitchen, 4 young workers-one that appeared to be a shift leader or something had their faces completely exposed with their masks below their chin. One didn't even have one on at all. When I asked about their requirement she says yes they are required but we have had AC issues and it is hard to breathe with the masks on... That didn't settle well since they were all yelling orders at one another over open/exposed food and plates.
Hard to breathe is not an excuse considering COVID attacks the lungs... THAT is when it's hard to breathe. I couldn't help but think of that the whole time me and my family ate dinner. Will think twice about coming back amid a pandemic that is not getting any better. 87 NC counties are in the red for uncontrolled COVID. don't tell me it's hard to breathe in a mask while you're making my food. We need to be looking out for our fellow man/woman right now with vigilant concern....
Read moreFirst off, I would have given 4 stars if I had gone through drive thru. They are slow which is why I would not give 5 stars. But this is my 2nd tine eating inside and I will never do it again. The 1st was a bad experience as well.
Maybe I'm just spoiled by the fabulous customer service I get at Chick-Fil-A. Or maybe I just expect better than this.
The guy who took our order either didn't care or is "special needs" in which case I really wouldn't want to complain but I think he just didn't care. I am so sick of people getting customer service jobs then not using any customer service skills. Even when I pointed out to another person that I was overcharged for something (wasn't asking for refund) the other person snapped at me rather than explain nicely why I was charged the extra price. I was only trying to point out the price difference so they didn't get in trouble for the price being different than what was on the menu board. I was trying to help them but got snapped at instead. I chose to walk away rather than show out. I really wanted to be snappy myself but chose to come here to the wonderful world of consumer reviews.
I know that Zaxby's in Monroe has struggled to stay open..... Now I understand why. Do better or you will...
Read moreOn 6/5/21 we went to the drive thru for lunch. When we pulled up to the window and paid they gave us our drinks and said that it would be about 7 minutes before the food was ready if we could just pull up and park they would bring it to us. After about 20 minutes the 2 cars that had pulled up after us got their food. We tried to ask the woman bringing the food out, but she ignored us. After waiting 30 minutes I went inside to find out what the hold up was. I was ignored for another 15 minutes while standing at the counter trying to get the employees attention. When I finally got someone to answer me, they said that food wasnt ready. One of the workers took my name and number down and appologized and said that a manager would contact us for a free meal. It took another 10 minutes to get our food which still did not have the sauce we paid extra for. It has been a week and half and I have still not received a call from anyone. I understand short staffing, but to be ignored and not answered when trying to get our order that was already paid for is irritating. Multiple people came and went before we ever got our food. This is by far the worst experience we have had...
