Carnitas Barbacoa — Restaurant in Monroe

We always go to get tortillas here, they are really good. Because of Covid-19 we decided to go through the drive through and it was the worst experience. It took forever to get our order taken, given, and get the payment processed. We could see through the window and see how they just left the tortillas on the counter and walked away, they passed by the window many times so they should have been aware we were there, we could see when there were no costumers inside as well. We were waiting for more than 30 minutes! The car behind honked and left. We finally decided we would go in and pick them up, once we were leaving we noticed the car that was next after us, was still there waiting as well. Why is there a drive through if no one is going to attend...

I had previously given this location a four star rating on a different visit, but recently I went and the pork meat(carnitas) was disappointing. When I arrived at home and ate the meat I was unsure if they had a new cook or if the meat was spoiled. I had to throw the meat away because I could not eat it, there was something very wrong. The tortillas were great, the pico de gallo and the beef bbq(barbacoa) were all good. This was sad because I had spent $20 on just the 2lbs of pork meat that...

I was in town for only a week and tried many Hispanic restaurants in Monroe. This was by far the BEST! In fact, now it's one of my favorites nationwide! They are very friendly and welcoming.
