I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. I came in to purchase a hoagie and was assisted by a gentleman who was very rude and dismissive throughout the interaction. He had me swipe my card three times. As shown in the attached screenshot, I was charged once, and then there was no remaining balance on the card—followed by two more transactions that took two cents each.
When I informed him that my card had been charged, he insisted I had no money on it and claimed the transaction didn’t go through because I didn’t receive a receipt. Even as I showed him proof on my phone that the card had been charged, he dismissed me and offered no help.
Afterward, I called the store and spoke to a manager who was much more professional. The manager assured me that they wanted to make it right and were happy to compensate me with my food.
However, when I called the store again today (5/25/25) to follow up, the same rude employee answered. He contradicted the manager, told me the store would not be honoring what was promised, and said I would need to print a receipt from my bank and bring it in—a step I’ve never had to take before.
To make matters worse, during the call, I heard the same employee in the background say, “Can you take the phone? I don’t know what she’s talking about and I don’t want to help her.” This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable.
I am not someone who argues over food, but I was clearly charged three times, and I should not be treated this way when trying to resolve the issue. I would like to be compensated either with the food I attempted to purchase or a full cash refund. At this point, due to the repeated rudeness and the unresolved charge, I do not wish to return to this location again.

Read moreYo ho ho! Jersey Mike's Subs in Monroeville, PA, is a treasure chest of flavor! I stumbled upon this place at 3975 William Penn Highway, and let me tell you, it's like finding the One Piece of subs! The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked bread and high-quality meats hit me like a tidal wave. The crew was as friendly as my pirate crew, slicing meats and cheeses right in front of you and making each sub "Mike's Way" with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and a perfect blend of oil and vinegar.
I devoured a giant sub, and it was absolutely DELISH! The meat was tender, the cheese melty, and the bread fresh and soft. It felt like a feast fit for a pirate king. The staff was super kind and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect. They even offer curbside pickup, which is great if you're in a hurry to get back to your ship.
Whether you're a first-time buyer or a regular, Jersey Mike's never disappoints. I can't wait to drop anchor here again and try more of their mouth-watering subs. So, if you're ever sailing through Monroeville, make sure to stop by Jersey Mike's Subs for an...

You can tell everyone behind that counter has fought the war of a thousand sandwiches and will not allow another child to go hungry. I could not imagine a world in which my kids live in without Jersey Mike's. After we got our delectable goodies of the heavens, I turned to my wife and I told her "I want to bite this sandwich and see it squirt across the room". And the gods did not disappoint. That sandwich and it's juice cleansed away my sorrow, washed away the pain, and waxed my heart with a new layer of hope for the future. I will he returning to Jersey Mike's soon,...
