I'm really picky to the extreme about what Chinese restaurants I will eat from. So much so that I have asked to see the kitchen in a few. I was extraordinarily nervous about New China House after reading the few negative reviews here. Unfortunately, I am in a physical therapy facility and couldn't go check them out, so I had to either keep fighting my Chinese food cravings or take the leap.
We ordered sweet and sour chicken and shrimp with broccoli and 2 shrimp rolls. Just don't listen to what any one tells you bad about this place. The only thing I didn't care for was the shrimp roll. Read moreI have been eating here for many years. Not sure what happened, after the pandemic it seems the recipes changed. The rice is now orange/yellow and some stuff isn’t to the quality it used to be. The Tofu dishes are still pretty good. Other dishes changed a lot. This is the only place I can get fried rice with no egg in it. They prepare the meals fresh, other places will have a lot of these dishes premade. I would still recommend giving it a try and they’re one of the most affordable Chinese restaurants in this area.

She seemed totally annoyed by having to take so many separate orders, and was even ruder when it was picked up. Even though it was a large order, and the only one on the counter, she gave my coworker a hard time because she didn't know the phone number it was placed from.
