GAME OVER Escape Rooms Pittsburgh — Local services in Monroeville

My family and I went through the Murder on the Orient Express escape room and had a great time! We have never done an escape room before, but that didn't stop us from having fun and figuring out the puzzles. This was a very unique experience that you will not get anywhere else in the Pittsburgh area, or even in Pennsylvania. Without spoiling much, this isn't just a simple one room to escape from. You and your group unlock or advance to other rooms during your time limit as well. Additionally, all these rooms have moving parts, different puzzles, and sound effects that keep you engaged and immersed. The puzzles are not easy, but there is a help button available at any time if you want any hints. The owner is a very nice and friendly guy that wants you and your group to have a good time. He was very patient and understanding of our group having a lot of questions as we have never done an escape room before. So don't worry if you have no experience, as all are welcome. I took My Family out for an afternoon of fun and I have to say.... "FINALLY, there IS a better escape room experience!! Game Over! is a great addition to the Monroeville area. when you first walk in you are greeted by the kindest and most professional staff. The facility offers you five different scenarios. Each scenario has multiple rooms that you must find the clues to get to the exit. I have a 10 and a 13-year-old. We chose to do the "School of Magic" which has a "harry Potter type theme" The kids loved it, the room was extremely challenging, but very fun. The props used are all high-quality items. Extremely clean rooms, without giving away any surprises, I will say the room was highly interactive. Things you won't expect to be an interactive part of the game suddenly come to life..... bring your friends, bring your family, host your bday parties, and above all else... bring you brains!!!! What a great escape room experience! Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the School of Magic at GAME OVER in Monroeville. We have done other rooms in the city, and found this one to be top notch. The room was designed well and immersed us into the theme of the room. The puzzles were the perfect level of challenge that required clever solutions and team work, without becoming frustrating. Our usual escape room group has 6-8 people, but found this room to be the perfect size for 4 people.

The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment that we entered the lobby. One member of our group was involved in an unexpected phone call with doctor, and the staff was very accommodating and so understanding! When we asked for help during the game, the clues provided just enough to help us solve the riddle, without giving away the answer.

Just one more thought, GAME OVER has locked lockers were conveniently located to store purses, water bottles, etc.
