Last week when I was working in Pasadena, it was nearly lunch time and as I usually check Google maps for places i did it, then spoted this place, and I was checking the menu , then decided to try. Once got there the place is very cool, clean and looks very romantic, with few tables to enjoy any meal of the day either alone, with family friends or even a date. The guys are very welcoming and friendly. After checking the menu for a few minutes I decided to get a banh mi, ( sandwich). While waiting for my food Hien, the guy who took care of me offered me some water, and I have noticed that not all the places offer water while waiting the orders to go. Once I finished my cup with water Mr Chung came to me and offered me some more water, and of course I couldn't denied his friendly offer. Very gentle guys. By the way I had a chicken, pork and beef sandwich. Mine was very delicious. Personally I loved the flavor and very affordable price ,I'm looking forward to try the Pho if I'm nearby some time. Highly recommend this place is...

4.5 Stars with room to grow!!

The chicken fried rice reminded me of grandpa's master chef fried rice. Dry and add an egg, two to three! The more the better! 5stars

The veggie vermicelli is good, flavorful and it even has its own veggie sauce! This place caters to all, veggie options galore and friendly enough to allow customization. 3.75 stars

The pho is gentle from the start, allowing you to customize at will. More homestyle than the local places around town. This is hard to rank, because it's not "bam" take me as I am style, it's subtle and says I'm good but adjust me the way you need. So I'm ok with that, 4stars.

Bring the family, there are plenty of options and tables to boot. I'm...

I was very much looking forward to eating here with all the positive reviews but was very much disappointed. With so many other amazing restaurants down this area of Monrovia this one is a definite SKIP. The service was okay. Our waiters formal work attire was PJ pants, along with other staff. Got a torn paper menu to order from. We went on a Friday afternoon, the place was completely empty. No lunch rush. So I am wondering why our food took so long to come out and come out at completely different times. Two pho and two sandwiches. We got one sandwich. Then 10mins later one soup, and so on. The food was good but the experience was not. The place needs some TLC, very outdated....

**Edit: I got a call from the restaurant offering to remake the sandwich. While I appreciate the gesture, I didn’t take them up on the offer. I ordered the sautéed tofu sandwich. I’m very familiar with Bahn Mi sandwiches. I’ve been to Vietnam. This sandwich was terrible! It was super soggy and unappetising. It’s supposed to be on a baguette. It was a basic roll and the ingredients had it falling apart. I asked for it to be extra spicy. It wasn’t even a little bit spicy. For a $14 sandwich including tax and tip, I expected much more. Hugely disappointing.

I just discovered this place yesterday and took my grandma there for lunch. The server was incredibly friendly, and the service was really fast. We ordered a grilled beef bánh mì and the signature beef noodle soup. The portions were perfect for two people. The soup base is incredibly delicious, not overly sweet like in some Vietnamese restaurants. They truly stick to their authentic flavors. The atmosphere was cute and homey.
