Someburger — Restaurant in Mont Belvieu

We waited for a long time just for our order. It was just me, my wife, and our 11 year (didn't order a lot)... We came in on the 24th of this month (which was my birthday) and was not only highly disappointed but was spoken rude to by one of the workers. How hard is it to have something HOT and FRESH? Had to send our burgers back multiple times. The first time i said no sauce because places don't understand what DRY means. The second time, they brought it back all they did was scrap the damn sauce off because they're too lazy too make a fresh one. This time I told them to remake it because this is NOT how you do it and they got upset and mouthed off. Unbelievable! The employees are untrained with very poor leadership skills, no manners, can't make a burger correctly to save their lives, and truth be told; you don't have to be a rocket scientist to make a burger. It goes bottom bun, meat, cheese, meat, lettuce, onion, and a nice cut tomato on top. I even told them NO pickles because i cant stand pickles. I get told just take them off and I won't taste it. Which is a damn lie because of pickle juice. second chances here. Whataburger does a better job even when they're slammed. He'll, I even told you NO salt which means NO damn salt. But I get it back with not only salt, but...

Went Friday, order was wrong (forgot the cheese on my cheeseburger) but the burger and fries were good, so I decided to bring my wife back Sunday. What a mistake. $31 + for 2 double cheeseburgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks, which would have been acceptable had any of the 12+ employees acted like they gave 2 hoots about the customers. The fountain drinks and tea were undrinkable (we watched 8+ people pour theirs out as well) We told them twice and in 30 minutes they never fixed either issue. Majority of the fries were way over cooked, stale, and were no longer warm when they handed them to us (we ate there). Someone should have at least acted like they cared, but we watched as several customers went and told them about the undrinkable fountain drinks and the unsweet tea that was almost just pure water. There were several employees horse playing and cutting up during our visit, not to mention 2 employees were finishing an argument at the register before they could take our order (we should've known better and turned around right then) I wouldn't have left the review; but I was so angry that they ask for a tip at checkout (I left a $5 tip), and then you get extremely unprofessional and bad service. Tips shouldn't be asked for prior to any service being given, and...

Rarely ever do I leave a negative review. If I'm not happy with a place, I just choose not to go back. However, this was so bad that we left feeling like we had been duped. $45 for 3 dry meals, overcooked and not even correct. The patty melt was a stale, burnt bun with 2 slices of cheese and a hamburger patty. No onions, nothing. Did I mention the stale burnt bun? Along with that we ordered a regular burger with an over easy egg that came out cooked past the point of recognition. You couldn't even bite into it. The entire thing was fried into one solid piece you had to use your hands to rip through. The BLT would have ok if not for the stale, burnt bun. It was ok. I had such high hopes for an alternative to Whataburger, but from what we just experienced and paid. I know where I will go next time.
