Java Love Coffee Roasting Co — Restaurant in Montclair

Really poor experience at Java Love this morning. As I entered two people were chatting in seating area and no one was behind the counter. I waited at the counter and moved around a bit and was sure the two people chatting saw me but neither of them ended the conversation or offered a 'be right with you'. Eventually a line formed - still they kept chatting. Then someone came in past the line and went in to behind the counter and served me - I'm guessing this person was on their break and just returned. I wasn't greeted, and there was no apology for the wait. Once this staff member served me the other two people appeared to go back to work. I figured maybe they didn't know how to use the register or it wasn't their responsibility to serve customers. I got my drinks and moved to the side where one of the original people talking then proceeded to serve the next customer. I said to him 'oh you do work here then, I wasn't sure' - he just glared at me, still offering no apology for my waiting for 5mins while he had a nice chat with his coworker. I...

good spot for some lattes and at a nice location in Montclair too. We had some spare time before our dinner reservation and decided to stop by for some coffee.

We ordered iced and hot lattes and I love that they were able to accommodate my half hazelnut and half vanilla flavored latte. It was delicious!

There is good enough seating inside but a lot of the customers (on the day we went) brought laptops so they may tend to take their time there - just an fyi. There is an option to sit outdoors as well especially when the weather is nice. And lastly, as a new mom, I also appreciate the restroom having a changing table! lol Close to the parking...

A little pricey but it’s a local coffee shop in Montclair and typically the standard. They keep their milks un-refrigerated on the counter but you can put your own in which some coffee lovers prefer. As someone who likes less milk, my coffee is never filled to the top. They have many syrup flavors and barista recipes if you’re looking for a creative drink.

Their hot coffee is the best on their menu- many options and they sell their own varieties of coffee as well. They have books you can read and a few seating options inside and outside.
