Pokeway — Restaurant in Montclair

I normally don’t post reviews on things, but yesterday was a bad experience for me here and I’m at this place multiple times a week, if not multiples times a month getting food here. I order the same large bowls with the same ingredients and for some reason I’m getting charged different prices each time. Not sure as to why. I tried asking a worker there and she was absolutely rude about it. I asked her if the prices have gone up and her response was in the last month and I’m like well I was here last Sunday and I was charged $13 something and today it’s $17 and she’s like maybe you got a different size bowl and I’m like no and I didn’t get a chance to even finish what I was about to say and she cut me off. This is not how you treat a customer who comes here on a weekly basis every month. I don’t understand how you can charge me one price and then charge me more another time for something that’s exactly the same as previous times. And it’s not like I’m making this up as I have pics as proof! This needs to be addressed and I would like answers for this. I not only come here for the food and the portions they give and in my opinion is the best in the area, but I work 2 mins from here and I send my co works here for the food as well and to be treated like this is unacceptable! I am not a fan of the mall—never have been— but this poki place—this delicious poki place—keeps drawing me back. I would never have thought there was a poki place at the Montclair Plaza (Place), being that I would not have gone willingly to check, BUT my coworker recommended this place to me, and ever since then, we have been getting lunch here for our breaks. It is just so delicious. I am a fan of the rice bowls, but if you are not a fan, they also do salads as well.

If there are cons about pokeway that I could list they would be: the spicy dressing is not that spicy (personal preference) and they do not have a fountain drink dispenser--they have a fridge--so, if you want a soda, water or any other drink, make sure they offer it--in their fridge--and accept that there is no refill.
