This place has been serving pizza in the community since 1979. Families have been coming here for generations and I can see why. The pizza itself? Excellent. The crust has that perfect balance—crispy on the outside but soft and chewy inside. You can taste that it’s made fresh daily. The sauce leans homemade too: not too sweet, not too tangy, with just enough herbs to stand out without overpowering the cheese. Speaking of cheese, it’s generous, melty, and golden with the kind of stretch that makes you smile. These wings are the real deal. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. You can tell they’re cooked fresh—not the soggy, reheated kind you get at chain places. The classic buffalo has just the right kick without being overwhelming. The staff greets you like family, and you can tell right away this isn’t just a business for them; it’s a passion. There are a lot of businesses that come and go. Rio's pizza has stood the test of time and would put this pizza up against anyone. If you’re in the area and craving pizza that’s made with care, this family-owned gem deserves...
Read moreFood is Great but bad experience with Service. Ordered Medium pizza. I remember this place from when I lived in the area 20 years ago and have not had it in over 7 years. Since I in the area meeting clients took advantage and ordered a pizza . When I got there I was told there was a large pizza ready but told them I ordered a Large. Because of the mistake I figured they will sell me large for price quoted for a Medium . Being in the service industry they teach us To Never argue with the client which is what he did . John Rio the owner said he could not sell me a large for a medium price because he would lose money , a little over a dollar. Instead he said he would make me a medium & apologized that I had to wait again. All a bunch of Bull!!! Again food is Great but really Mr. John Rio It's time to Retire. There are customers like myself that don't care about the cost but Good Service & Good Food! Price for my medium pizza $16.62 & left them a $20.00 tip . Paid $36.62 . Over paid , yup for the Pizza not the...
Read moreI told them the last time I made a phone order, the toppings on my pizza was really skimpy and there was hardly any cheese at all and barely any sauce and the crust was burned. So that night they gave me one of the best pizzas ever! Seems like their pizza improved and taste the same as it once did years ago. Thank you Rio’s! That night I wanted bj’s but they close early. I’ll be going to Rio’s once again! Wanted to also add I went recently to Rios and they seem to be having a problem with people paying with money that is older. They said that they can’t accept money that’s from older dates. They almost didn’t give me my pizza despite how many times me and my family have been going there for years. A lot of people are complaining and some people aren’t even getting their pizzas. This place is and have been good over the years but, if this continues I will not be going there anymore. Some people already are going to different places now because of...
