Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Monterey Park

We celebrated my daughters birthday at Shakeys she turned 12 years old. Managers Evelio and Rosa made the experience of organizing the event very pleasant and easy. The staff was super helpful and accessible whenever we needed anything. The staff reserved an area for us to accommodate a party of around 45 people kids and adults. Our kids had a good time at the arcades. The area they reserved was ready when they said it would be ready and this Shakeys was super clean. The food was made very quickly after the order was in and food was excellent. Evelio and Rosa would come look me up to ask if our party needed anything else. Evelio and Rosa made sure that in my head next time I think of having a gathering that I come back to Shakeys. Thanks for your attention and thanks for helping out in setting up decorations. The staff saw me running around at the last minute and offered to help set up. Thanks again for all your help and services. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!! The management here is horrible! Especially the one with glasses with blonde hair I believe her name was Lorena. I used to come here all the time before it was turned corporate with the older managers and staff I loved it. The cashiers know who I am especially the ones who have been working here for 2 years … I am a regular, and the cashiers never seem to disappoint me. But with this new management especially the main manager— NOW THEY TREAT THEIR STAFF HORRIBLE THEY ARE STINGY WITH CONDIMENTS GET MAD WHEN WE ASK FOR MORE.. treat their employees rudely. I do not appreciate the way the management treats their employees it is very unfair, disrespectful. If they do not get new management I swear their business will go down in the ground. Used to be the best SHAKEYS location now it's not . Someone really needs to check that lady Lorena I think that is her name , the main manager with blonde hair and glasses or else it will be her fault why this location goes down in business. SHAKEY'S on Atlantic Bl. Serves the best food of any pizza parlor I know! We love the thin crust Pizza with Veggies and Pepperoni and Chicken and Mojos! We had a great dinner on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, they went over and beyond to make sure everything was right! The only bad thing is I misplaced my prescription Burberry Sunglasses 👓 that I had gotten recently, so I called everywhere I had went to that day looking for them. When I called Shakeys however, they said that no one had seen them, but to call maybe later or tomorrow morning, maybe the cleaning crew will find them. So, I called Sunday on the 8/27/23 and Evelio answered again and when I asked him he looked again, and he said yes! He had found them! So I came from ELAC to pick them up today, with my friend from school and we decided to eat some chicken wings and mojos to celebrate how awesome it was!!
