So I went to Mori sushi for the second time in my life. This time was interesting. The place was basically empty and we were just pointed to sit at a table. The waiter accidently spilled water on my friend while funny was an omen. He then forgot about us, took everyone order and then about 15 to almost 20 mins in he realized he didn't take our order. So few people there were getting there food and we had to wait another 20 mins, we contemplated leaving numerous times. When we finally got our food it was very delicious. We ordered more food and while the second order of sushi came out rather quick they forgot our Ice cream order which took another 10-15 for a single scoop of ice cream. At first I was not going to fault them because the dinner rush had started to wonder in but when asked if we were waiting on something it turns out our order paper was put off to the side. Overall after observing our first waiter I realized he was probably newish so at the end. After tonight's experience I do not think I will be going back anytime soon
TL:DR: possibly semi new waiter spilled water, forgot to take our order a lot time, our food took forever, and some of our order...

After 5 years of being away, I was in the area and stopped in here again, and WOW. Like OMG WOW has it changed.
Now instead of real dishes, they bring everything you order in to-go paper trays. I don't know who decided that customers wouldn't care, but they should be fired. In my opinion, the paper not only cheapens the entire experience but is 1000x worse for the environment and makes it feel like you're not welcome to stay.
I am extremely disappointed Mori. I understand COVID happened and you're forced to adapt for to-go orders, but to serve in-restaurant customers with paper dishes while charging full fare is definitely going to make me forget to come back next time.
That aside, the food was still fairly decent and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was empty at 5pm...

Price wise, it was quite affordable for $23.99/person. There was a great selection of appetizers, soup, upon, ramen, sushi, sashimi, and rolls. The rolls were average tasting but did have a different variety compared to other places. This is the first place that had a cooked salmon roll topped with raw salmon. Definitely a different taste which had different layers to it. The sashimi was sliced a bit too thick for our taste and we would of preferred it to cut much thinner.
Service was great and our empty plates were removed promptly. Although this is based on the fact that it wasn't all that busy. Overall, just an average place for sushi but for the price, it's...
