Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Montgomery

My husband and I decided to visit Applebees on Taylor Rd this pass Saturday and I was really excited about eating out because it’s been a minute. I’ll start by saying my waitress was Great but when she brought my Bourbon chicken with shrimps on top and broccoli in a skillet that’s when the visit want down hill, the chicken was dry and Tough, shrimp 4 only was rubbish and the few broccoli they gave with the meal was burn ( how do you burn broccoli smh). Yes I called for Management and the first thing he said was ( Tell me what’s wrong with the meal) as if it wasn’t Obvious even Steven Wonder would’ve seen this mess was not fixed properly; but I did what anyone would and explain the best I could in the most proper voice I could because at this point I was upset. The Manager finally Acknowledge the broccoli were burned and said that it should not have been put in the skillet it should’ve been placed a long side the skillet in a separate bowl and he asked if he could prepare another meal or give me a Free dessert ( No the meal was not offer for free just the dessert) he said that way my husband wouldn’t have to eat alone ( I denied it) and I watch my husband patiently. When he finished we paid heard more apologies then left my night was ruined all because Management wouldn’t say because we served this horrible meal to you we will either give you a free meal or your next meal will be on the house for our mistake No he wants to give a free dessert really( I am dieting and I didn’t want dessert I wanted my meal cooked right). Applebee’s please help your managers make better decisions next time or take them back to training because his training wasn’t displayed this time. And the cook needs training again before this happen to someone Important ( Since I wasn’t important enough and my time was of no value).Training is needed at Taylor...

I visited this applebees the night of March 23, 2024. We were not welcomed at All. In fact, she acted like she didn't want us there. The environment was unpleasant. We ordered our food and thought maybe the rest of the interactions would be acceptable, they weren't. The food was cold, like for real cold. I dont know how long it had been sitting there but the mash had crust on it. Everything else was cold to. My companies food was also cold. On top of that they still hadn't brought the wings out. The waitress literally looked at us and asked "They still haven't brought yall wings over", we told her no. Like, your the waitress, why don't you know we don't have our food. There are only 3 other occupied tables with 2 people sitting at them on this entire side of the restaurant. My friend asked for napkins, she was told she would bring them with the wings.... the wings that took forever to come. So we ate without the needed napkins. She didn't check on us or offer to fill our drinks not one time. I mean not once. The manager didn't even come around to ask about the food. We just asked for our tickets and to go Containers so this way we can warm our food and eat at home. We also asked for water since she didn't bother asking if we needed more drinks. She completly forgot we asked for our tickets and I told my company to let's just stand up to leave. She eventually came back and said " Are yall ready for your ticket?", 😮. We had requested and had been waiting on those receipts forever. Then she brought them AND STOOD OVER US WHILE WE SAT AND SIGNED!!! I guess to see if she would get a tip. We stopped Here on our way home we take our 3 children in first thing we seen was a man dressed as a women waiting 2 seat us and about 5 or 6 of the workers piled around the door, we told them 5 they seat us at a table for 4 and put the menus down and walked off so my husband had to pull a chair from another table to have somewhere to sit. Waitress came to take our drink order, it about 5 minutes to get them then she came back to bring then and took our order my oldest Don order the 2 mini cheeseburgers and yogurt and my youngest ordered Mac n Cheese. Brings the food the "2" cheeseburgers was 1 Krystal looking burger cut in half! My youngest his mac n cheese looked like it had been sitting in a cooler for over a 1 week. I had no silverware and asked for some and she brought me a plastic fork and knife. Asked about the hamburger and was told oh no that's the 2 we are just out of regular bun but it was the same amount of meat and all though .... told her the mac n cheese was nasty and cold my youngest by that time had already started eating with me. So I order the oldest some boneless wings they came out and they were not even hot like they had been sitting out so he ate them anyways bc I was beyond aggravated by then I asked for the check and it was $50 I an sorry but McDonald's has better food than what we were served today for the money.
